I read it from chapter 5 for a long time. Author is very good and I like it. Thanks for writing.

Where do I even dare to begin?
Lucid sports an expansive world, wonder-inspiring environments, an entirely new repertoire of monsters; Hyres, a vast cast of colorful characters that just keep on developing, a familiar academy setting, yet the students wander out into the wild to advance their ranking, and to top it all off, an amazingly intricate system, which is a total joy to explore along with the protagonist.
Lots of love has been poured into this novel, and boy does that show. I'm glad to see Lucid finally finding the recognition it deserves.
Having witnessed the first steps of the author, all I can say is that I'm relieved to see the grammatical hiccups mostly limited to punctuation errors these days. It might get distracting if you care too much, but it beats out poor WN/LN translations any day of the week.
I'm having high hopes for the future!

The degeneracy infecting my soul causes me to thirst for the next thing that scratches that itch. Lucid from the beginning screams to me as if it's going to go full fucking "underestimated protagonist", which happens to be one of my favorite sub-sub-grenre-sub-tropes among my many disgusting isekai fetishes. I appreciate that the sci fi voice speaking inside his head isn't vomiting rpg stats onto the screen on the main character's eyelids, and is yielding information as you would expect a futurustic AI to do, with fancy formatting and big words. I've yet to descend down the dark path of LitRPG, but I don't quite enjoy rpg stats. Things seem to be advancing at a good pace so far, though a path to the MC's goals don't seem to quite be in sight yet. Thanks to MC's utter ignorance of the foreign world he finds himself in the worldbuilding isn't forcefed, but is trickled in by the internal AI who I secretly believe is the main antagonist or something and is probably laughing at the MC for being so very ignorant. (That was a joke) Because of this drip-feed of info right after a new setting element presents itself, the story exemplifies show don't tell. An explanation is only given after the MC flusters about making himself look the fool, quickly followed by some healthy banter with the voice inside his head. I'm quite enjoying it so far, though one element strikes me as odd. There's this strange contrast between gruesome deaths where people will just loot your corpse after you're mauled by ice bears, and ordering pizza for your cozy apartment in sci fi city proper with an arrival time of three seconds after hitting submit. I'm having trouble coming to terms with how seemingly blissfully ignorant the populace is of the acid-belching komodo dragons and headsnatcher monkeys populating the forests. Perhaps if I too lived in a magitek city with space wallets and the obscene varieties of drugs, I might also ignore the six armed skeletons waving at me as I walk out to retrieve m

I like seeing the numbers go up, it satifies my lizard brain.
Lucid's main draw isn't a strong emotional core, it's the same as any addictive MMO. A good cultivator story has interesting mechanics and a protagonist that engages with them in a fun an creative way. Lucid delivers on both fronts.
If you know what to expect it's a fun story to get lost in.

I don't know man, this story has a lot of promise. But between the slow chapter release schedule, and the slow pace of the story, it feels like it's stopped moving altogether now that I've reached the last few published chapters. Hell, at this point (ch31) I could read 5 chapters in a row with almost nothing happening in them.
It's just not very well written, from one training montage to another magical theory/cultivation nonsense mumbo jumbo explanations that nobody really cares about...
The protagonist is developing at a slow pace, the story is moving at a slower pace, like it has to hold itself back so that the protagonist can keep up...
At the end of the day I think it's just not very well written, he has the story, he has some characters even if they're nothing to write home about, he has acceptable grammar, yet all of these combined are just not enough to actually make an enjoyable book.
He does not have the pacing, and the story has a very limited sense of direction, which might also explain why it's not moving very much.
I mean we have over 300 pages now, enough content for a whole book, and everything that's happened is that the guy went to magic school and practiced magic/archery, then some plot stuff happened and he ended up somewhere else than magic school, and all he's doing is still practicing magic/archery/cultivating.
There's been like 1 part of this entire story where it felt like something was happening, and that was when he went out to try and pick herbs which ended up with a lot of hurdles for him to overcome. But besides that part, I feel like everything has been completely stale from early on in the story, and still is.

This story is a wannabe magic academy anime. You got the uniforms, the incredibly weeby weapons, the magic swordsman ( please for the love of everything holy, don't make him both a fighter and a mage. it gets repeated ad nauseaum) MC, the cute and friendly AI.
The names scream Japanese LN, same with the setting and the combat. Dialogues are what you would expect to see in an anime.
Grammar seems pretty poor, so go for it if the anime vibe is what you're looking for. Move on if not.

I like portal fantasies with LitRPG elements, so this story starts off right in my wheelhouse. Unfortunately, it just didn't deliver:
    - Stats not shown progressing. One of the best parts of LitRPG is seeing stats progress. In this story, the protagonist is progressing stats, but we don't get to see the numbers change. I don't understand why you would include LitRPG elements if you're not going to use them?
    - The story seems really random. Instead of the protagonist following a plan, he just seems to drift from event to event. Nothing feels satisfying. I also hated the ending of the first novel. I literally can't find words strong enough. Loathed doesn't even come close.
    - Grammar is exceptional poor. Reading on RR, I'm used to editing issues, but this one ranks among the worst.
    - Incoherent at times. At points, I literally can't figure out what is going on. The sentences don't express complete thoughts that make sense.

I feel like this story could use an editor, or at least a pass through grammarly.
