Description

The one that you send to kill the boogeyman wakes up in the future only to face the ultimate boogeyman. Won't somebody PLEASE get this man...a gun! Rated M for language, for sexual situations, and for John Wick shooting lots of dudes in the face. This story is set in the same Mass Effect universe as my other story (Tango 'Til They're Sore) but you don't have to read that one to read this one.

I wrote this one in between JW1 and JW2, so...yeah. This was before the whole mythology about the 'High Table' and the rest had been introduced. At the time of writing I figured they were 'just' a very stylish sect of assassins. And given how things turn out in JW2 and JW3, I think it would be fair to consider this an alternate history as far as Wick's interaction with his superiors is concerned. This was also written well before my Smol Detective stuff. I'm doing some re-editing as I upload it, but please forgive it if it's a little rough around the edges.

I really enjoyed the author's first Mass Effect fanfiction, which fixed a lot of issues with Mass Effect 2, and it's broken plot. But this was also excellent.
I think the John Wick character felt relatable and believable as a 21st century person in the Mass Effect universe and the story held together quite nicely with good structure and touching on block points that were in the second game.
    Strong recommend.

This is crazy underrated. I know some bit about Wick, saw the first 2 movies. I don't know shit about Mass Effect but this was a quite enjoyable read. The characters are fleshed out, and our goat Keanu is lore accurate. Nice mix of sci-fi and action with a little grit mixed in around a few parts. If you want an awesome quick read this is highly advised.

A surprisingly good john wick story that somehow is mashed together with the Mass Effect universe making for a amusing spectacle of watching Baba Yaga try to navigate a completely unknown world while making new human and alien friends/colleagues. My only complaint is that the persona the author depicts john wick having is only a tiny bit weak though I guess anyone would be when facing down a ridiculous sci-fi world
