Description

*Currently on hiatus*

*This is a slow burn harem story. The beginning is fairly light, with suggestive content picking up in later chapters. All characters participating in explicit content are 18 years of age, or older. Said explicit content has been toned down and euphemized to meet site regulations, check this story out on other platforms for the uncut version.*

An American IT with a passion for magic and fantasy died on his 39th birthday as a virgin due to a stab to the gut while protecting a coworker of his. He might as well died a 'Wizard' that needed one more year to become a 'Sage.'

Then, like in recent isekais, he was reincarnated in a new world as Soar Osmis with memories of his past life intact. This new magical world of Manara is where everyone has a chance to become an aspiring Magician, be blessed with powers by forming contracts with fairies as Chaperone and Companion, and special abilities called 'gifts,' and it just so happened that Soar was given the 'Wizard' gift at birth.

Thus, began the mostly slice-of-life harem isekai story of a man reincarnated in a world centering around the very thing he loved: magic, as he trained and used the knowledge from his past life to carve a path to a new one on his own terms while growing as a 'Great Sage.'

Some RPG game mechanics applied with a growing OP MC with humans and demi-humans as love interests. Profanity and little gory violence is included, characters in explicit sex scenes are at and above the legal age (MC won't have such scenes until his new body is around that age). Some scenes include yuri (F X F).

This is your typical reincarnation story with a virgin 39years old man on earth that want to use magic and get reincarnated in another world on sword and magic but it's very well made and the characters feels alive! Some people may say it's cliched but who care? if many author keep writing isekai, it's because people love it!
There is real character development: when the mc saves a girl, she won't instantly fall in love, it will only be after they spend more time together. Also, the MC change also feel human and have a huge development in the story.
I didn't really notice any grammar error.
At the begining, the first chapter are more like "telling instead of showing" but it's only for 5 chapters, it describes his growth from a baby to a 11 years old boys. After that, it slows down and the real story start!
Also, there is no fairy harem but the start of a human harem. It's true that he collect fairy, but there is no real romance between them and the mc, the real romance is with humans girls.
The MC is quite OP, not the strongest in the world but he is way stronger than any people from his age, maybe only a S rank hunter or monster could beat him but we don't really know since he never fought one.

Enjoying this story, It's the first one I've come accross where the reincarnated mc starts out as a newborn and grows to an adult.

Keep in mind that this review is based off of only 2 chapters and a prologue. I will likely update it assuming the author keeps writing. That being the case...
Style 5/5: The writing style is nice. It flows well and there are very little breaks in continuity. It is still early in the story and as a reincarnation story some time skips are expected. As long as they don't become too frequent I don't believe there will be any issues.
Grammar 5/5: The author is clearly putting their experience in writing to work here. You don't see any of the pitfalls common for new writers. Spelling and grammar are on point. Vocabulary shows a good understanding of English without trying to emulate a thesaurus.
Story 5/5: What we have seen of the story so far is mostly a moderate level of world building. The synopsis has more of the plot than the story at this point so I feel that this category is one of the more likely canidates for possible rating changes. From what we can tell so far we are dealing with a standard fantasy story that is clearly drawing influences from Japanese light novels/manga/anime. Expect colorful hair and cute demi-humans.
Character 5/5: Soar is an interesting character that many readers will likely emphasize with. His wants are simple and he has a realistic view on things that keep him grounded. We are likely able to expect a character who knows what he wants and has the drive to go after it. We can also expect that he likely has some social flaws (due to his original life) that he will need to overcome. As for side characters we have barely been introduced to any of them. This is also a category that may possibly have a rating change.
Overall 5/5: I am looking forward to seeing this story developed further.

I liked a lot this story. There are very few novels with fairies and even fewer where they are perv fairies... i like that mc interacts with others and his fairies. It also is shown that while he has not realized his physical body affected his mind making him more childish in some aspects... cannot wait what kinky se* stuff he does with the fairies and his 2 familiars... the rabbit and frustrated dark elf can't wait for xd.........

A Story about a reincarnated MC (with some OP cheats as usual) getting to learn magic in a new world and hoping to build a sweet harem of his own. This one started off quite promising and unlike many similar books found on RRL it doesn't devolve into xianxia nonsense but in stead improves over time and is actually coherent. There is actual character development (when's the last time you saw that on RRL?).
For those who have read the authors other book about the OP Brawler: This book has a somewhat similar theme but does away with the actually absurd bits and has managed to get by this far without replacing plot with sex themesΒ has completely fallen into the same pit of perpetual sexual nonsense. A solid upgrade as far as I'm concerned
Characters are mostly believeable and seem to have mostly relatable motives. Although there are quite a few characters it's not too difficult to keep track of the important ones.
The style is mostly consistent and enjoyable, but there are slight disruptions to the flow as the plot takes a back seat for a paragraph or 2 while some relevant worldbuilding gets rushed out that relates to the world mechanics or lore.
Grammar is mostly fine but in some (actually) rare cases it is possible to find awkward sentence structures and such.
Actually re-read the entire book over this weekend (up to Myron dungeon rewards). Still held up well!
In short, why are you reading my ramblings in stead of the book?! Go read it, it's good!
EDIT: A lot of the recent content has stagnated plot wise and just gets lost in endulging the MCs (and probably target readers) sexual fantasies. Honestly The last maningful story development i remember was taking on that dungeon and the rest has been so diluted in hentai I can't even name it. There's still something promising being built up, but it's a relaxed and slow story that's slowed down further by sexual distractions like 3 fold.

The title is pretty misleading since the book focuses on a pre-teen child that was a man on Earth reincarnated. He isn't old enough to have sex and is saving himself for marriage (oops magic).
If you like books with child protagonists that lusts for girls w/o touching them, this is the book for you. It's not my bag.
Book is well edited and I would read this author if his next title focuses on adults having adult relations or even an adult OP mage that has left mommy, daddy, and childhood far behind.

One of the more apparent flaws this novel has from the very moment that it begins is a middle aged man swapping between a stuttering mess like he's never spoken out loud before to a wildly overconfident excited child. He'll jump from "o-oh my g-god p-pwease b-be nice to m-me πŸ₯Ί" to "HELLO HOW ARE YOU DOING TODAY IM USING MAGIC!!!! LOOK AT THIS NEAT SPELL!!!!" In such a small amount of time it's often literally between sentences which screams mtl.
Shoddy cheap Chinese translations will always have the second issue of making random characters scream mid conversation by slapping ! marks onto random lines of dialogue just because they think using more parts of a keyboard makes it sound more like English. Granted the former issue could be due to the fact the author has never met anyone over the age of 6 and doesn't know how people talk to eachother rather than a translation issue but realistically regardless of the cause of the problem it's an issue nonetheless.
All of this seems fairly minor and maybe it is as long as you skip any spoken dialogue and ignore all text involving "these" but it sets up what the future of the novel is going to look like. A cliche copy paste of nearly every other novel with similar flaws, the only one of which I don't actually think it would stoop to being swords in a magic novel. Some of the more obvious future issues being that he's going to end up "hiding how strong he is" and even though I only got a few chapters in I knew full well that 1, he would be a total moron to ever consider it and 2, he very likely will do just that. It also seems to be going the trophy wife route for female characters, the only 4 of note he's met so far being the fairies and the foxkin teacher. Literally all of which were described by body proportions rather than literally anything remotely interesting.
If the author wanted to write an actual novel instead of essentially grabbing a colouring book from the local gas station and then colouring it in and submitting

This is smut disguised with the concept of a harem, isekai, and light novel tropes. If you call it smut, I'd rate it for smut. If you call it harem, isekai, or the like, it's a 0 for me. To interested readers, this is not harem isekai, this is smut.
