Description
A progression Litrpg with no NTR or smut! I wrote this because I'm sick of seemingly good stories being bogged down by them!
Chuck Bachman ends up in a world that runs on porn logic in the shoes of a System-wielding protagonist, but he defies expectations and tries his best to live a decent life. In his quest, he uncovers the dark underbelly beneath this supposed “free love utopia” where he finds workarounds to wield the sex-based System against wealthy elites, the mob, and his own inner demons.

- vtech1855Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm really liking this story. The MC seems to be a genuinely good dude, just trying his best in an insane world that relies on porno/sex video game logic.
The concept of this world threw me for a loop, but the author has been great about keeping it more than PG-13 and less than R.
As long as your disbelief has been suspended, this story is very enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to finishing it. - Briar MossRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Wary but interested in the novel premise, I read. The paths of words travel sinouslys to my ear, caried by slightly stilted style and dialogue.
No p*rn, a good sign so far.
The system is vulnerable to munchkin-ry, always nice.
God knocks then knocks you the F out?
Sudden magic but we go to work anyway?

Is good. - EnourmousLettersRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The world of this story is terrifying. Not to spoil too hard, but the author takes the idea of a world running on sex-logic to its natural conclusion. How would such a world similiar to our earth function in day to day people's lives?
It's comedic, it's tragic, it's awesome.
In terms of Grammar, haven't noticed a single mistake. The Style of writing is the kind where it flows naturally and you don't even really notice it.
The story and character are where it really shines though. Our main character is thrust into a world they barely understnad and must come face to face with the prospects of trying to live without submitted to a literally all-encompassing culture that is abbohrent to him.
Oh there is a system too. It's done well and integrated into the story nicely rather than as some tacked on thing.
Can't wait to see where things go.
(Because reviews require 200 words, allow me to present to you this sentence which contains words. Many words. Lots of words. Big words. The best words. Um… The story is good and you should read it. I’ve enjoyed it and you will likely enjoy it too. More words. Even better words. Finally I’m at the threshold where the post button will let me submit. Enjoy the story.) - Exponential IncompetenceRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I find this to be an incredibly enjoyable read, especially in regards to the gimmick which makes this story unique from others. The hijinks that ensue due to the actions of our MC are always funny to see, alongside the abuse of the system that seems highly flawed!
Overall, I can't find any issues in this story and I can't wait to read the rest. - NaruaraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When you first start reading this, you are like "What the Heck is that" and after you finally are like, that guy is a genius! The story is very well fought! It is very surprising with the way it is evolving and you will love it more and more. The main character is quite interesting as well.
I can't wait to read the next part! Thank you for this gem! - NotRelevantRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you're tired of the same old LitRPG tropes and are looking for something fresh and exciting, then this webnovel is definitely worth checking out. From the very first page, you'll be drawn into the fascinating world of Chuck Bachman, a protagonist who defies expectations and strives to live a life that is both rational and decent in a world that operates on porn logic.
One of the standout features of this story is its nuanced exploration of the dark underbelly of this supposed "free love utopia." As Chuck navigates this world and uncovers the power dynamics that exist beneath the surface, the story becomes a thought-provoking and sometimes heartwarming examination of human nature and society.
But the story doesn't just rely on its intriguing premise and setting to keep you engaged. The protagonist has a clear and concise character arc that feels genuine and earned, and he never feels like just an audience surrogate. The grammar, spelling, and overall writing quality are also top-notch, making for a smooth and immersive reading experience.
And there are plenty of hooks to keep you reading, as Chuck navigates the peculiar rules and quirks of the world he finds himself in, and sets up fun conflicts against wealthy elites, the mob, and his own inner demons. There's even some fun alt-history to be explored, adding yet another layer of depth and intrigue to the story.
But what really sets this webnovel apart is its modern setting, without an apocalyptic backdrop, which is a rarity in the LitRPG genre. This makes for a refreshing change of pace from other similar stories out there, and the author uses this unique setting to great effect in crafting a story that feels both timely and timeless.
Overall, if you're looking for a smart, engaging story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, then look no further than this webnovel. With its engaging protagonist, fascinating setting, and thought-provoking themes, it's a must-read for fans of the LitRPG genre and beyond. - TrueCipresRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0You often hear how a story is grabbing what is an overused trope and taking it to new and interesting heights, but few stories I have read exemplify it as well as this one.
When I heard what it was about I was weary, mostly because I wanted to avoid smut, since It's simply not my cup of tea, and to make matters worse, smut plus LitRPG often adds up to swallow characters and not to my taste interactions. Worst, lately, I associate LitRPG with repetitive and unoriginal plots and developments that are more mathematical than tangible, but the good reviews and the promise that, despite its premise, this novel wouldn't touch on porn made me give it a try and I definitely don't regret it.
Rather than fall into the tired tropes that I feared, it makes fun of them with its amazingly charming MC fighting to avoid such troubles with troubles following him at his every step.
Style: Easy to follow, quickly flowing, and no annoying jumps. The story comes to the reader clearly as the MC himself meets the world, and whatever exposition was used came into play naturally enough that I barely noticed by the time I was up to speed.
Story: The best part of the novel; a good idea done well. The plot is exactly as the synopsis promised, but somehow it manages to feel interesting beyond that. It is funny, but also compelling, and I imagine it is because the author took the time to consider what it meant for things to be the way they are. There is a bit of a mystery vibe going on, with an understanding of the reason things came to be as they are getting into focus as the story moves forwards. By the end of volume 1, the main culprit seems to be showing its shadow, and I am all the more curious about the why and how.
Grammar: Almost spotless. If there were grammar mistakes, I didn't see them, so nothing distracting.
Characters: We could say "Character" because the Main Character eats up the story. Thankfully, he is charming enough that I am not complaining. He is his own person, and has clea - Agent8449Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5I thought this story would be some shallow romp that I could pass a small while with-- surely the miscommuncation jokes can only be dragged on for so long-- but I was very wrong.
Life in the world of Living it for the Plot is much like a soap opera. And while the reasons are unknown to us so far, that's intentional, by someone or something. Horrifically, as suggested in the prologue, there's something darker, grimmer, going on that has led to such a distinctly bonkers alternate reality.
While I don't care much for the type of humour itself, a genuinely good (if slightly plagued with anger issues) main character with interesting inner monologues is carrying it for me.
Grammar and spelling is perfect, prose flows well. No complaints here! - OwlishRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Good English, no obvious grammatical mistakes. Basic idea- what if someone got sent to a world based on 1980s porn movies? Our MC has a System that seemingly wants him to become the most amazing lover in the world, but he doesn't want that.
It's a little weird in that he has figured out the basic idea, but doesn't think the implications through- at one point, he thinks he's organizing a union, everyone else thinks he's organizing an orgy. Not really to unbelievable levels yet, but could easily get there.
Check it out!
