Legends and Labyrinths

Ray Ramirez has had a boring life recently.  He's a Server Admin and IT guy for a number of businesses, and his most exciting moments generally come when some Boomer 'accidentally' opens a private email containing a virus.

He wakes up in a place he's never seen before, he can't remember the names of anyone or anything and he's required to create a character for something called The Game... yet another thing he knows he should know the name of, but just can't seem to.  When he's done with that, he's told by a mysterious woman that he's now a Dreamer and warned that the future of both his world and many others depends on him getting as strong as possible.

Soon, he's battling monsters in his Dreams and dealing with even odder goings on in the real world!

This story will absolutely NOT have a harem, though romances AND bromances are likely.  There are strong elements of LitRPG, especially in the first few chapters as the mechanics of character creation and how the world functions are explained.

There are also elements of isekai and Urban Fantasy involved.

The mechanics borrow heavily from the d20 System, and is strongly influenced by Pathfinder, as well as D&D 3.0 and 3.5, with a bit of the Anima RPG, some Shadowrun, and a little Hero System thrown in though the last few or more just inspiration than anything, really.  There's a lot of 3rd party d20 stuff in here as well as a bunch of homebrew and house rules.

This is my first attempt at a story.  I am happy for any constructive criticism.
