- Ivan_IvanovichRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I won't concentrate on the usual rating system RR provides. Instead, I will talk about what makes this story good.
First of all, the author does a good job portraying the feelings of all the characters. Every action and thought have some emotion in it and the author expresses it very well.
Secondly, this story has a strong mystery theme going on with minor elements of supernatural and horror. The tension is well maintained and it keeps me guessing what will happen next.
Thirdly, it has some good elements of fantasy with unique and original monsters. There are some well-written battles and even if the MC is strong he is not OP. He is human like all and allowed to make mistakes, that is what I like in this story; the growth of MC.
To sum up, this is quite a high-quality read. It is apparent that the author is not a native English speaker but this does not impact the overall quality of the work. The only thing I do not understand is why this has so few followers as it definitely deserves more.
This story is of good quality, chapters are long with frequent updates, there is plenty of dialogue and good storytelling.
If you haven't already and if you like mystery and adventure you should give it a try and read at least a few chapters. - Lord VitorRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5It is a good story, quite well written, but the events lack that surprise effect that gives a thrill on the readers, making they drool for more.
The characters are well designed, with no OP character or MC with sudden epiphany that turns lost battles into glorious victories, which allows intelligence and strategy to shine in the right moments, but their personalities are too stereotypical (the shining yet irresponsible hero, the vengeful villain), so they lack the feeling of being possible in real life.
