Description

Goodmen, beware,

L is no hero. Some spun tales of his deeds benefiting one circle or another, but in the end, his actions benefit none but himself, for any particular occasion where his farce contributes something of substance, it would be nothing but a false, perpetual coincidence, hiding naught but the blatant desire of chaos and depravity. There is no heroism in his dark deeds, to his twisted lies and fabricated truths. We have seen his kind before, have felt the typhoons they are born within. He, through and through, to the smallest pieces of his wretched blood cells, is a lecherous entity which does not care for the world, his, ours, or the people that reside within it--if he even considers them to be so. My unreliable sources have shown otherwise.

This is not a heroic tale, yet I hesitate to deem it villainous either, for his intentions are incomprehensible. I retrieved his history from the fires he laid behind him, from the ruination of his tongue and sword, but his House is a subject in which even I do not dare to tread about. Let a different dolt ravage their mind in separating their fictions from their sins. I repeat, foolhardy learners, that this is a tragedy about an extremely patronizing human-like figure, who seems to account for naught but his own whimsical, impetuous, sinister desires; no matter the unfortunate outcome, for him, or for others.

Yet there, within the tribulations, lies a wicked lesson. It is hence I sacrificed my clear-mindedness in inscribing this, in an attempt to whisk the ramifications from the muck and excrement.

I have failed.

Goodmen, stay away, for insanity beckons his footsteps. They reside within his words, within his acts, and within his story. It is here, on these rotten pages in this very tome of misery.

Goodmen, I beg of you: Beware and begone.

THE 7 REALLY IMPORTANT STHINGS

Clichés shall be avoided like the cancerous tumors they are.The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is.No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are.Grammar laws shall be upheld all the times most of the times.I need this here for no other reason than for the pun to work.

If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a Dark Souls style, but don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel.

Overall, it's just a a good story that you don't know how it will end up. With other stories, you can easily guess what's gonna happen most of the time, but with L, you never know.
    Cus he doesn't either.

    Spoiler: Spoiler
So the reason I enjoyed this story has to do with it being less 'action' and more story. I myself don't like all these fighting scene all the time which are quite few and far inbetween. I absolutely love that. 🤗

Ok, if I'm not mistaken, this would be my first time giving an advanced review, so I'm sorry if there's something wrong with it, do tell me if there's any.
Might spoil to those who haven't read it yet.
    Style :
Awesome, fantastic, professional would also be a good word for it. I can't really explain it much, apart from it draws you in, knows when to go into detail, knows when not to. So yeah, fantastic.
    Story :
Mysterious, with the conflicts of the minds being the primary antagonist. Sprinkled with psychological hints and tricks. My preference is more to the social interactions and how the main character uses it. But hey, it's my preference.
    Grammar :
Hard pressed to find faults, perhaps I'm the one lacking in skill. Only spelling errors here and there, but it's negligible.
    Character :
L, or Jack., easily my favourite character of the fiction. I want to say because I could relate to him and his struggle with his personality, but my other self said no one would believe me, so yeah.
All characters are realistic and fleshed out. I'm not really an expert in explaining, so you're gonna have to read the fiction to find out what I'm talking about.
    Conclusion :
Love it, would love to read it until the end. And...that's about it.
    Thanks for reading

I'll keep this short and just say that I love it! The character is dark, but not broody, is sligtly insane, and the plot is well built. Sure he is messing around, but i sense more developments comming that will surely reveal more about him.
    Keep up the good work.

Just about to start reading this from the synopsis alone. as an avid souls fan, if he follows through with what he says this will be quite the glorious piece of work.

Firstly the author links the whole novel in the comments of the 'kindle' chapter. This seems to origionally have been a teaser for his amazon book version.
Turning to the book itself the main characthers are all well written but also really quite warped. L is super dark, not in the tsunade or anti-hero way more the sneaky multipersonality evil psycho way. The difference is quite important and might put a few people of after it really starts showing by the end of the book's first quarter.
The author does a great job emphasising the insanity of the characthers almost to a frustrating degree. For instance there is like 6 pages of just laugther. The same word over and over. It is most certainly not a easy or comfortable read. It will likely freak you out just a bit which attests to the author skill at getting an emotional response.
The reason why I did not give this a 5 was because it feels like an unfinished work and it was also difficult to follow. This kind of makes sense because the main characther is insane and often lost on the plot himself. Also there are a few elements which dont seem to have gone anywhere and the ending feels like it leading onto a much larger plot.

I only read the 6 chapters that are posted here and they are good really, and I wanna know what's going to happen next so that's that
    Anyway to the review itself
Style: it's good, easy to follow and I didn't have much problems with it, there were a few parts where I found it a bit confusing, but nothing so bad that a more focused reread wasn't able to deal with
Story: as I said before, I only read the chapters that are out here so I only read the beginning and I don't know much about it, from what I saw though, the premise seems to be solid and I'm sure that the coming events are gonna be good
Grammar: I saw a few mistakes here and there and a few confusing sentences, but not so bad that it hurts, so not much of a problem here
Character: I liked the few characters we've met so far, and especially the mc, I usually hate the snarky comedic type because they are rarely done well, but I quite liked this one and how the interactions between him and the other characters, mainly the AI Null and the blacksmith, is
Anyway that was a small review for this novel, it's good and you can read the chapters here to judge if you like it or not. Finally a thank you to the author and continue the great work~~🎉

Nice story man, keep going. This is what a true virtual reality novel should be, some stuff in the virtual world, but also a lot going on in reality.
In my opinion, the only thing this story lacks atm, should be some more EXPLANATIONS about what's going on. It is sometimes hard to follow tbh
