Description

About an orphan orphaned by noble stupidity over spoiled cheese.  She's capable, curious, definitely opinionated, but not entirely consistent.  Her name is Sammy and this is the story of her doom.

Sammy's head whips around and she says with wide, surprised eyes that quickly narrow with suspicion, "Huh?  What?!"

One of the most absurd stories I have ever read in a very, very good way. The main character is of the charts, to say she carries the story would undermining her work, she is literally atlas, carrying the whole world (truer than you might think).
This is what Hollywood would want to be, if they could actually portray a strong, independent, funny female main character. It is more a coming of age story, but I think that only shows more the talent of the writer.
There was never once a boring moment in the story, worldbuilding is really fleshed out. It is a world with magic, but not overbearing, more like how we use electricity in all forms, but way more interesting and through the viewpoint of someone who still has stars in her eyes when she looks at something new.
The main character is walking contraction, just like most of us are, very human and thus very lovealbe. Like the other review mentionend, it is impossible not to smile or smirk at her antics. The side characters feel never out of place and everyone gets just the right amount of attention.
All in all, if you like the story aobut a girl with lots of urban adventure, some hardships, a strong character, who makes you laugh, you will never expect where the main character ends up, I strongly recommend this story. It is definitively publishable. I'm very glad I stumbled upon this story. I hope it gets more followers soon.

This is the kind of story that draws you in. That pulls you and makes you smirk at the actions of the characters while feeling connected to them.
The m.c. is an absolute hoot the further you get along into it with the childish curiousity of the world, tempered by tragedy and early self realizations that only an urchin would come up with.
The characters feel well crafted even if they have not had a chance to develop yet, the world itself has a thought out feeling, a mix of magitech and fantasy...
Stupid nobles! Is it a disease or a curse?

Overall it is an exciting story with a strong female lead that is going around, and not being given the easy route at the start. Can't wait to see how the grim, but not dark or overly nasty world progresses into the future. Keep up the good work :)
I can't wait for the story to progress more about Sammy and look more into the mischief she will get up to. A girl that will grow up on her own path. The magic system within it is different from others, which is always a breath of fresh air. Having the items needed to use it, will be interesting to see how it expands into further types as well.
Other characters as well aren't over the top for being over the top either. People live and do realistic reactions to each other.
The story is still in its infancy and could take a couple of paths, so far have not seen the drama within it, so that adds one element to it for the future.
All have their own styles and enjoy reading yours, after the first page, it just flew by.
    Keep up the good work
