- DresdenFilesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This isn’t just another Pokémon fanfic. It’s amazing! Really enjoying the plot and characters. Ngl, the title almost deterred me from giving this a try lol. Quality of the writing and the emotional depth of the characters really stand out. Don’t think I recall reading other Pokémon fanfics with multiple MCs, but I think you nailed it.
- Atomic CalmRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a very fun and unique pokemon isekai adventure. The main characters are two brothers who wake up in a pokemon world after spending years working together surviving the fall of society. Watch as they confidently cook up schemes in this new world that (more times than not) end up with them in over their head.
Style: Excellent. Realistic conversations and the banter actually made me laugh out loud on several occasions.
Story: The worldbuilding blends a bit of "Pokemon world logic" with a refreshing dose of realism, plus a nuanced morally grey approach to the stereotypical criminal organizations. My only complaint is that the brothers tend to take on massive risks, but it still is very entertaining as long as you can step back and appreciate the brothers' ability to salvage the consequences of their own actions.
Grammar: Almost no errors, and the author actually responded to the few I noticed so you can tell that this guy cares about the quality of his work.
Characters: I love the dynamic between the brothers, and I love how the pokemon are treated as thinking beings. There are also about a dozen side characters that we run into semi-regularly (some from the games, most are new). Great interactions all around - you can tell that this author has actually talked to people irl. - VillolianRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0anyways i like this story, simple, a bunch of bros getting isekai'd to the pokemon world, not only that broski is cooking, there's an actual reason why the bros appeared, we dont know currently,b ut from what i'm seeing it will be expanded from in the future. In conclusion i like it and i dont need to type fully cause i just want to show support and i like the fanfic, continue mr author
- A.R.KRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0its really good so far (chapter 4), there arent any grammar errors i noticed, the story is interesting, and its unique. i'd say its worth reading. this is the first pokemon fanfiction ive seen with 2 main characters, its a really cool concept that id really like to see more of, as well as pokemon you dont really see often getting the spotlight so its a 10/10 for me.

-+CHARACTERS:+-
The main characters are both endearing and interesting in their ways, with a backstory that actually, truly affects them! Although the whole isekai part is reminiscent of 'Borne of Desire', don't look away! The fact they continue to survive a little bit before the isekai long enough to get survivor skills and trauma is wonderful, providing a perfect spot for trauma to be revealed and/or expanded later on.
I'm easy to please when it comes to characters, and by Arceus the MCs are good characters! Er, well, good in the main sense. Morals are realistically gray. Don't forget about the background characters though, from the endearing pokemon they get to the nurses and the grunts around them, the story is moved forwards in a very natural way! (At least to me.)
Speaking of story...
-+STORY:+-
It's good. It's really, really good! The story is interesting and takes a turn that not many other Pokemon stories take: Joining the villains. Not the first choice they had, but when life gives you lemons, feed your Pokemon with trauma. I like how easily it switches from one arc to another, and the pacing is wonderful! But once again, I'm very easy to please when it comes to stories.
-+STYLE:+-
(Strike a pose!) Easy to read with nothing I had to look up, this story can be enjoyed by anyone who has a basic grasp of the English language. It describes things well in a way that sets the mood but also allows the reader to imagine the surroundings for the most part, which is a plus in my book.
-+GRAMMAR+-
No overwhelming problems that I can find, the story so far has no issues that detach from it!
-+FINAL THOUGHTS+-
Pretty good! Enjoyable and fun with a good dose of darkness to balance everything out, this story makes me wait for more without feeling left behind by any cliffhangers. With two main characters, a writer who's personality seeps into the story (in a positive way), and a mostly fun premise, I can't wait to see what happens next.
TL;DR: good fanfic - SpirallingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a real good one, you should read it so that the author gets more motivated to write more chapters so I can read more of it!
If the other pokemon novels are like the normal games, this one is more like a fan game as it has a banger plot as well. - BeaniebeanRoyal Road★ 0.5The story was kinda ok at first, but damn, did the heist go, so left It's insane. Now, our protagonists are in a dangerous and very stupid situation for no reason other than their own stupidity, and now they are in an evil team that wants to reset the world.
If they had just used their brains and asked their friend for help or, hell, tried to plan things better, we wouldn't be in this situation. Honestly feels like someone wanted to try and write a 'bad ending' version of Borne of Caution.
