Description

A world where all humans have Classes, Skills, and Stats. A man who wants nothing to do with the gods, their Classes, and the churches who administer them. A world where it's hard to live if you're Just a Human.

LitRPG Tag:I put this tag because of the world revolving around the Class system of the gods, not because of my MC. Don't expect to see exp, stats, or random skill acquisition.

S.Ch. (Side Chapter):In the side chapters, the POV changes to other people or other timelines.

This story is great! The MC is chaotic and crazy, but has a core that I find endearing. His depth has been slowly fleshed out over time, and I have enjoyed every second of it.
The worldbuilding is minimal but impactful, and seemingly dynamic.
One aspect of this story that I really enjoy is the current lack of some great quest or world ending threat that the MC is constantly struggling with. The MC is just trying to find his way in a tumultuous world, learning and experiencing all he can. The MC isn't some chosen one savior of the world (not yet at least), and I love that.

I really like what is available right now. The Story takes a somewhat different approach to classes and gods in the litrpg genre and I love it. The characters seem natural and act according to their experiences.
Style: Very enjoyable to read. The author hits the sweet spot between progressing the plot and making the world come alive.
Story: The premise promises an interesting plot. The refusal of the MC to take a class, especially with it being rooted in his life as a slave, makes for an interesting and reasonable point of conflict.
Grammar: The grammar is fine. Nothing stood out enough to break the immersion while reading.
Character: Currently we only know very few people, but the ones who have been introduced were unique and captivating.

Story: The premise promises an interesting plot. The refusal of the MC to take a class, especially with it being rooted in his life as a slave, makes for an interesting and reasonable point of conflict. The MCs quirky personality and thought processes are entertaining while simultaneously not being detrimental to the overall plot.
Grammar: The grammar is fine. Nothing stood out enough to break the immersion while reading. Note that I am no native speaker.
Character: Currently we only know very few people, but the ones who have been introduced were unique and captivating. They have been formed by their environment and act accordingly.
I am really looking forward to the new chapters and hope the author avoids the common pitfalls of the litrpg genre, like letting it devolve into constant slaughter or reducing the MCs Motivation to levels. If you're unsure about reading it just give it a try.

Don't have much to say about these first few chapters other than there a great read and the setup for the world building seem like there is a lot of potential. I look forward to where the story will go and hope that this truly does become enthralling tale.

This is one of my favorite fictions on the site the characters are interesting and the story is well paced. The progresion is linear snd satisfing and i can't wait to know what happens next. The nitpic I have is that the main character seems overly confident to the point of it being a bit aniong sometimes but that is a flaw he will probably fix as the story goes on. His confidence is enterteining most of the time dough.

This is my first time reading a work like this. The main character is a gladiator, the best there is, when it comes to human level power. For years he has fought in the arena and won every single battle, him still breathing, being the proof. I will not go into the details, but he finds a way to get stronger.
The story follows him learning new things, training is a part of his life, with some obstacles on his path. He had 2 companions, if you could call them that. Basically one employer and one student-to-be. Also, he really loves fighting. Not really unexpected, considering he spent more than half of his life doing so. There is also very little bullsh*t, when it comes to annoying pals. There was this one guy who annoyed him. Result? Dead. I really love him for that.
He has yet to show his goal, but he has an ambition - to become stronger than all those with classes, given them by their gods.
Story is well written and doesn't bore you. Protagonist spent most of his time in the stadium, so he is still learning about things on the outside.

I don't normally write reviews, but I realized that the author of this novel is also the author of another novel that I really liked "Outer Sect Disciple". Well now talking about this novel it is very good, the premise, the characters and the world are really interesting. It has some extra chapters that are really interesting and give depth to the story.
But I think the best thing about this novel is the ways in which Mc has to find ways to become stronger in a completely different way than the others. Another thing to note is that things don't always go well for Mc.

Reading this story, I had.... Moderate hopes on picking it up. It's late at night, right? So hey, I'll try it out, and if I get bored, bam, easy time going to sleep, right? Well, it was like midnight when I first started and now, two and a half hours later, I'm giving it a review. And frankly, I don't understand how you could read this story, and not be taken by it. The world building is excellent, the characters are brilliant, the fights smooth and dynamic, with a rapid pace.
Silvester, the main character is both incredibly funny, charming, and yet, manages to show a surprising understanding of himself. Unlike many a protagonist, he doesn't struggle with looking inwards, it's looking outwards, to other people, where he struggles. And, while the chapters feel a little fillery, he's so maddeningly charismatic, just hearing him monologue about himself to other characters for most of a chapter was entertaining.
Freya is great, and when they finally come out of their shell, I can't wait to see who they become.
Zeph is an excellently written young noble, trying to live up to what a noble should be, yknow, noble, in a surprising.... Yet deeply endearing manner. But the story doesn't just discard his upbringing, it makes him naive still, but in a subtle way. He is not high and mighty, pompous and lazy.... But why would he know this, or that? He wouldn't, and the story remembers that, granting him wonderful characterization.
I have two issues so far, one of which that the story has not really addressed, and they are these two things.
1: I dislike the twist. You'll know it when it happens, and it's not exactly bad, but I didn't like it. I. Didn't hate it, but it broke some of my reading momentum. This is the only plot issue I have.
2: Grammer, is not the best? The author said that English is not their first language, and the story is fine, but I think its important to keep in mind. For example they didn't realize the difference between, "mess you up" and "mess with them" whi

Really enjoying the story thus far. There isn’t a ton of bloat or drag to the travel times and some of the side stories really help to round out the MC. I will say, that the mc is a bit too much of a jerk for me but it makes sense most of the time. Overall very fun and can’t wait for some of the mysteries to be further explained and explored.

    I enjoyed this story.
The thing that stood out most to me is how intense the main characters personality is. A feature/flaw of most stories is that the main character tends to be 'bland' such that the person reading can imprint their own self onto the character. Because of the strength of this MC, that's hard to do. However this does make them interesting to read about.
The perspective is useful in that we follow our gladiator who is just 'breaking out' of their shell so to speak. As such, they're learning about the world just as much as we are.
Bit of a hiatus as I'm writing this. I wish nothing but good luck to the author in their full time employment.

There's so far nothing really unique about this story. The plot is, "what if MC was a strong fighter, and an outcast from society... I'm sure I'll think of something that could happen to him to fill the chapters."
Writing quality is adequate. MC begins as a prisoner and gladiator, made to fight against hopeless odds and an unjust society, and I appreciate those themes and they drew me in at first. However, MC soon escapes being a gladiator and the story loses direction. It's possible there is some fascinating hook the author has not revealed yet... but I'm not holding my breath.
Some irritating things: the MC is of the "might makes right" mentality, bit of a selfish narcissist, willing to kill others to make it easier for himself. There are a couple times where mild innuendo is used for comic effect in relation to a 13 year old girl, which is in poor taste. The MC acquires a party and a quest through no effort of his own, his two companions improbably fall into his lap. The villains are a bit cartoonish, all of them so far with the simple motivation, "Insubordination? I'll enjoy killing you!" The MC is strongly opposed to slavery, being an ex-slave himself, but proposes a training plan for his companion that would put them in his debt and unable to leave him until it is paid back, which is debt slavery.
