- Rish990Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Finally a webnovel that is not manhwa progression style. Every new webnovel I see nowadays are all progression. Really love the idea of the ARC reactor, and all the Dragon backstory is really well thought out. Writing is really good. I found no grammatical errors. The whole family dying and Xander getting destroyed was a surprise. Definitely gave the story a good boost.
Overall 5 starts from me. Hope the story keeps going on. - Ani1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0At first I thought this story is gonna be about some good hero-hero stuff but it looks like Castiel is slowly going to the dark side. Writing is very good, no grammer issues at all. Theme is kinda darker, addressing greed, slavery and stuff, which I am starting to like. Castiel is obviously OP, he just doesn't know it. Love the use of ARC reactor. Didn't like how Xander was destroyed but it certainly opened the story to other possibilities.
Overall - Good story. - Ardin@eRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love how the story began, especially the death by a bottle part. Power structure is good. The killing of the entire family is a very good turn of events. Makes the story really interesting and kind of dark. Love the fights, really well written and gruesome. All-in-all very good story.
- Angel KuttiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love your story so far. It's nice to read a story that doesn't do sudden infodumps like others. I would love to see more fight scenes. Castiel's character is developing well. Magic system is kind of unpredictable which I like very much. Something I find kind of funny is that anyone can die at anytime.
The character images are damn cool! - De@dboyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the character names. The story has some really great potential to it. Character development needs to be better. Hopefully there will be some in future. Calvin seems a bit underwhelming right now. Castiel seems a bit OP. Story is good. Finally something related to engineering. Love the fight scenes. The use of Dyson Sphere is new. Overall - very good webnovel.
- In The EndRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is good, character build up is also very good. The 1st chapter was really funny though. Grammar is perfect. Story is moving a bit fast but it is fine. Castiel might become OP or may be he already is. Waiting to see what more world changing inventions are gonna pop up. Love those images BTW!
- IsekaimanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall : This story takes you on an incredible journey filled with magic, innovation, and a dash of political intrigue. From the very beginning, I got hooked. The blend of magical and engineering is truly mesmerizing, making it a captivating read that earns a solid 5 stars.
Style : The writing style is enchanting and beautifully detailed. It effortlessly transports you into a world where magic and technology coexist harmoniously. The author's ability to describe the magical and engineering aspects in such vivid detail is very good.
Story : Castiel's adventures as the Isekaied Engineer are filled with surprises that kept me eagerly turning the pages. The exploration of innovation in a world where magic rules makes the story thrilling.
Grammar : The writing is flawless, a joy to read. Impeccable grammar and attention to detail make for a seamless reading experience.
Character : The characters in this story are exceptionally well-crafted. Castiel, especially, is a protagonist worth rooting for. The supporting characters are equally well-developed, each with their unique qualities.
Lastly : The magic, the engineering, the characters – everything about this story feels real and alive, especially chapter 5 with its gifs. That was something new. I couldn't put it down, and I can't wait for the next chapter. There is so much potential to this story. - Prinon 99Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very, very good story. Love how Castiel is reinventing himself after the tragedy with his parents. The first couple of chapters were going too fast but Story is progressing nicely now. The new character introductions are good, but any action Castiel takes always ends up in bloodshed. Seems like Castiel is on a power trip and ......I like it.
- Bruce cRoyal Road★★★ 2.5This story had a lot of potential, but ruined by the hodgepodge of mismatched ideas
Fusion reactor just powering LED lights? That sounds ridiculously dangerous. How do you build the infrastructure to safely transmit that much power.
Advanced guns without manufacturing improvements? Even 'magic' isn't a good explanation for precisely creating interchangeable bullets with sufficient precision.
The idea countries do enough trade to be economical linked when transportation is done using horses and communications is person to person?
If enough magic is available to create 5000 entranced slaves for war, it should be much more prevelant and powerful than shown.
While suspension of belief is critical for fantasy genre books, the above is too much for me. A shame though... I really wanted to like it.
