Description
Test pilot Roy "Crash" McDaniels became the first human to attempt faster-than-light travel, but instead of breaking the speed of light, he’d broken into a universe that really, reallydidn’t want him there.
His unplanned arrival triggers a powerful, omnipresent system that gamifies everything, mistaking him for the leader of an epic invasion. Now, branded as the universe’s greatest threat, he's hunted by civilizations that are just as clueless as he is, dragged into the game by the system without understanding the rules.
All he wants is to get back home, but in a world where leveling up is the key to survival, escaping might be the hardest challenge of all.

- NovaroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don’t usually read sci-fi novels, but this one caught my eye. The way the author gives every detail of what happens to our main character quickly captured my attention and made me want to know more about his future.
Because this is a novel with space elements, the background is certainly broad, with uncertain and unknown parts. But that’s just one of the points of interest here, given the mysteries and adventures that the MC is sure to face.
Style: It’s a first-person text. It has some more specific terms that if you’re not a native speaker of the language and aren’t used to the type of content targeted here, you may find difficult to read. But I believe that this is the novel’s niche, so that’s not really a problem. The author shows well what they have without exaggeration. It seems very realistic, which in my opinion is a good thing.
Story: This is the story of a test pilot who embarks on a dangerous experiment. He ends up being transported to another dimension, where goes on a journey of adventure and mystery through space.
Grammar: Good. I didn’t find any mistakes.
Characters: The main character is well developed. He has a past, weaknesses and strengths and a clear personality. The addition of new characters as the plot develops helps to show the different sides of Crash and also to give depth to the plot. But the story has only just begun, so let’s wait for the next chapters.
Overall, it’s promising. - phaetRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Only one chapter is out at the time of this review so the story could still go anywhere. That said...
I enjoyed the first chapter. The story has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing where the author goes with it. It looks like the author has put a lot of thought into the story. - JabberwockenRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I hope the author returns to this one, because I really enjoyed the story thus far. The protagonist is is basically isekai-ed during a science-experiment-gone-wrong, and becomes the fated doom of another universe.
Voice was solid, the main character was fun, and the adventures were exciting. I want to see more of this universe!
My only critique was the existence of a random girl-boss character or two that was allow to be bratty / awful without much consequence. That's a pet peeve of mine, but this story was probably the least egregious version of that I've read in a while.
So, 4.5 stars - it was entertaining and fun.
