Or will he be shunned for being different?
If you have a Webnovel account, you can go there and take a look at the chapters. As of right now, there are currently 2 full volumes in there!https://www.webnovel.com/book/in-danmachi-with-plasmids_21297534606119905
I have a Patr30n go take a look! You can access advanced chapters there!
And the Discord Server of coursehttps://discord.gg/M8jYGkTjCH
The first chap will be more about exposing the world of Bioshock and how Plasmids works and setting up the storyline for the future.
The first volume is about world-building, it might seem slow, but it only takes around 15 chapters, the good stuff starts soon after.
I am not a writer, I do this for fun and you are reading this for free. The minimum you can do is to just leave a reasonable opinion, please don't hate mail me.

Thank you for reading!

- Evelyn AdelbergRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I'll start with addressing the only thing I didn't like about this story, and that's the formatting. It is consistent, and intentional, but it requires that tiny bit of extra effort to switch between actions, dialogue and thoughts. I think italicizing the thoughts of the MC could help with the overall flow.
Grammar wise, it's quite polished. There are tense switches, but that's caused by the formatting I mentioned above, so they make sense.
I can't really say much on the story apart form the fact that I've enjoyed it. (I'm a bioshock fan, and I have no idea what the other Fandom is, but I had no issues understanding what was going on, although I probably missed all of the references XD). Although I will say, for the Bioshock part at least, the story follows the canon very loosely, so if that's something that bothers you as a reader, I suggest you skip this one.
As for the characters, I was a bit apprehensive at first when Antoine was introduced, but when he became Silver, he got a lot more redeemable traits, and was over-all a likable protagonist.
TLDR: a fun read that follows the life and adventures of a twice-reincarnated dude. - ArcanaVitaeRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I really like the concept of how the mad science of his first life meshed with the new magic of the Falna. It was also neat to see how Silver adapted to the new world, being an adventurer and how he made an impact. Silver's most potent trait is his mentality he's able to to think on his feet, obsess over improvement and consider the effects he has on the world.
- lVlythicRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I read all the way to "Scary Place" (I checked a few chapters ahead) while the story is good, the style is too wonky for me to continue reading. The switching of perspective from 1st, 3rd limited, and 3rd omniscient are way too jagged with no transition, and because of the way every sentence is separated (every sentence other than dialogue is a statement), everything has no/little/unclear mood or tone.
But the main reason I drop this is because whenever a character speaks or thinks it takes a moment or two for me to guess who is talking, which really takes me out of the story. - ShadowKnight6992Royal Road★★ 2.0Okay the grammer in some places needs some touching up because it's not just a wrong letter, no it's just gibberish and especially o some places its an entirely wrong word and just messes a lot up.
the Mc is good and amazing at the beginning but then it's like the author got bored and tried to rewrite him but make it seem like it was he Mc's actions changing cause reasons so 20+ chapters in it gets bad quickly.
also the random chapters thrown in between are horrible it goes from a battle to him, 6 days before walking around town, back to the battle. It is just so jagged and really breaks the immersion.
the plot is everywhere and in shambles, the author just gets every bad guy gives them assassins and sends them after the Mc and still 60+ chapters in and is still getting targeted, also all his knowledge at the beginning ya useless and you can chuck it out the window for 99.999% of the novel, which is hilarious because it's the god damn theme of this novel is the powers and knowledge but nope useless, also the author must've lost his script because the 200+ old Mc turns randomly into a horny idiotic teenager that literally puts himself in the open and brags about every god damn thing he's done and immediately everyone starts sending assassins after him and nothing changes
Summery this novel is two novels in one, the original good one(0-40) and the downhill dumpster fire(41-60-?) not recommended you'll have your hopes dashed - KasukageRoyal Road★★ 1.5So, there are several things I have to comment on this. First, you constantly have ' on sentences where is is impractical to do so. A lot of the structure is destroyed due to this. To make it worse, you try to justify it by having the narrative in 'this' which makes it both more confusing and worse as those are associated with thoughts. The main reason I dropped was because mc triggered a pet peeve. You don't just kill someone and justify it by saying they must have committed a lot of crime so boohoo. Mc didn't know anything besides the fact that he was getting robbed. How could he have known she was level two simply from strength? Who said she committed a large number of crime? How is she scum simply for wanting to rob? The fact is he tries to make it seem like she was one of the worst evil people and that he is a hero or a good person for getting rid of her.
