Description

As a child, Clark desired power. In school, he'd pass time dreaming of ruling over his classmates with any number of supernatural abilities; super-strength, telekinesis, time-stopping...then, he grew up. He quickly learned that the world ran on a different form of power. Occasionally, he even wondered if possessing those supernatural advantages would even help him.

After yet another failed job interview, Clark finds himself on the wrong end of a stray bullet, and dies. The teen meets a trickster god of another world before fully passing over, and is offered a chance to be reincarnated in another world of his choosing, with a powerful boon thrown in. Of course, Clark immediately agreed.

Clark awakes in a small shack with a small device nearby. Unfortunately, it seems he lacks supernatural abilities of any kind. However, this device seems able to control a distant and powerful weapon called the Telstrum. In addition to its power, Clark suspects there is something deeper to the history of the weapon.
