  Before I started reading this story I was bored out of my mind soon after I couldn't stop smiling.
  grammar wise there were a few misspellings here and there, but not of inadequate knowledge of English but of hitting the wrong key or not hitting the key properly.

  Expected another typical wuxia story. But it is so much better...

  The style is fine, the story exists, the grammar is consistently ok. But, the characters are flat. Mostly due to a mix of too many info dumps, and over explanations on the world. So far we are 48 chapters in, and roughly 100,000 words, and yet, we are still in the starting area. A majority of the story has been spent in a single setting, which really isn't ok. The main characters aspirations and driving motive look great at first, until you realize how long it's been since, and the number of people that have died because of it. Overall, while the author tried to keep the story interesting during this time; most of the information could have either been saved until relevant, or simplified into a sentence. Yet instead, we have chapters dedicated on one topic, within a conversation spread out over multiple chapters... The author of this story really seems to want this to be 'emperors domination", and that's the only way to explain it. But with the author seems lost in that desire, and the story is suffering because if it.
