What readers say about I Only Level Up With Likes?!

  • This story is very fun and a new type of story telling for me. I have never read a story where the readers can affect the characters. I hope the other readers don't go evil and just start throwing bullshit at the MC and trying to kill him on like Day 10 or 15.

  • Seriously though, I have only just started to read this book, but I really like it so far. Also, he needs those levels to save his friends and his puppy. I really like how we the readers are able to interact with and influence the path of the story. Thanks…

This story is a rare one where you actually can begin to care for the character only a few chapters in. Though that may also be a benefit of the format that this story is in, where the reader can somewhat interact with the character. This is definitely one of the better stories on RR.
Style: The story flows smoothly, and, while there a some blocks of texts, it never felt too overwhelming. The raw emotion is fully delivered through the storytelling, and the main character feels real. Never once did I think that "that wouldn't happen," in part due to how well done the presentation was. The descriptions allowed me to paint a picture of the new world the MC is thrusted into, while still focusing on his circumstances.
Story: Phenomenal. The part that I like the most is how the start is so disorienting, yet the author still manages to make a cohesive story that doesn't seem abrupt.
Grammer: No mistakes. Which is actually kinda surprising considering the author only has less than a single day to write the chapter. The chapters themselves are also long too.
Character: By for the best part about this story. The MC makes you care about him. He actions are...real.

Screw whatever story happens and get this man to level 90 and free his puppy!!! Thats the real objective of this novel!!!
Also the actual book is nice the story seems interesting with a charasmatic? mc (i personally think he's charming) and i love the villain? gamemaker? person because of how fun and chaotic she seems, i hope we get to see her appear more often to just mess with the mc
I like and somewhat dislike how much power the readers have on this story as the readers will either make this so hard on the mc the story ends in 2 more chapters (since there wont be any plot armor) or he just keeps getting saved by the readers

I have really enjoyed this series.  The first thing I thought of when I started reading this was how much it reminded me of Dungeon Crawler Carl.
I like the character development and the struggle between his original hatred of the gods and realizing he has to pander to them.  Rolling with punches, taking the awful prize boxes and the struggle of how to spend Qi points all adds a great element of growth and long term potential for the series.
The writing style is good and easy to read.  It is one of those stories I can pick up and come back to easily as I go through my life with six kids.  A good mental, fun break from the day!

Found this on a whim, and what an afternoon adventure this becomes...
For those who might be seeing the blurb and thinking, "Okay, but what is it really about?" It is exactly as stated. MC gets thrust into an Isekai, and things will go terribly unless you - the person reading this right now - do something to interact with him. Might be a boon, might be a bust. No one knows until the votes are passed and the author writes the next chapter.
Frankly, this is one of the rare moments where we get to see a site like RR functioning at full strength. Because the actual direction of the story is so responsive to reader input and the mechanics are clearly outlined, this is a truly unique experience. At a bare minimum, put this on your follow list and see how the MC adapts for a week. There is nothing to lose but time spent in an engaging read.
    Onto the review itself...
Style Score (5/5): This is definitely a lighter read that does not require a huge amount of thinking. It flows well from scene to scene, and it does not get too bogged down by exposition or heavy prose. The action is fun and engaging, and I was surprised by how quickly I got to the end of the first week.
Story Score (5/5): It is still very early in terms of story development, with the MC still getting his sea legs in a chaotic world, but there's been a few nods that imply a wider and larger conflict. Some might get turned off by the references to the meta throughout, but I personally find this is to be part of the charm. How readers engage in the real world is very much part of the story, and you can already see how this has played out in a bunch of different ways so far.
Grammar Score (5/5): Easiest one to dish out. No mistakes. At least that I can see. Which, given the amount of words written in such a short time is... Beyond impressive.
Character Score (5/5): MC seems like a somewhat generic protagonist on his face, but the added twist of the meta game is where this really takes off. Like that moment in The

Neat idea, hints of an interesting setting.
The writing feels a little weak at times, probably because of the casual tone. (Casual in the sense of casual vs professional, not that the character is constantly casual.)
Get strong, you silly little play thing. Entertain the gods! Dance for us puppet!

As a reader who has started to read chapter 10, I cannot keep up with the author's updating the novel within chapters.
This genre, which is reader-oriented, has been tried recently, but has not been caught. This is not possible by trial and error method.
Still, I think this was the best attempt, but it didn't seem like it was successful. at least for me. He couldn't pull me in.
