- aborednerdRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is fantastic, all of the characters are amazing and interesting. I really wish I could be reading more of it now, but sadly have reached the end of what is currently available.
If you like slice of life harems with compelling characters where sex is a more romantic aside than the focus, this is the story for you.
Thoughts on the format: I would liken each release (counting part 1 and 2 if the same title as 1 release) to a short novel. With two releases being a good length for a short book. I wouldn't want the releases to be any smaller (more time between meatier releases is what I like). I could see the argument for each release being broken into 3 ish sections, two for the story and one for the side stories at the end (if any). - GoldabagdaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok Full disclosure - Harem is not a dirty word for me and I don't know why it gets so much hate . This is a cute story about a Shy college student who is summoned to a world of fantasy with minor magic. I like that the spell casting mentioned is actually not an OP skill, and the MC is no god. there sex scenes are more romantic than explicit and the girls are more cute than not. An enjoyable tale and I am eagerly waiting for more. Worth the time.
- HansworthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very fun series, there are a few wholesome SOL romance stories on RR but they're almost never harems. This series fills that gap and I'm excited to see more. It's also very fast paced with multiple waifu acquisitions in a single arc. I'm also glad that the author split chapters into huge chunks instead of tiny pieces even if it runs contrary to common practice of appeasing the algorithm. This story is non-standard in many ways and is a breath of fresh air against the almost mass-produced feel of stories coming out of RR today.

Very early review, but I think it's worth a read. The chapters do have an intimidating length; the author even managing to break through the max chapter size on the second entry. Don't let the lack of chapters deter you from giving this story a try.
The characters are well written and the world building seems to be going in a good direction. The main character starts off feeling locked in their 'old world' mentality in a realistic way and adapts to the world and responsibilies pushed upon them gradually. The author does a good job integrating the thoughts and motivations of the other characters without intruding on the story being told.
I'm looking forward to the finished story, especially since it's so easy to drown myself in the chapters. - Enjoyer_Of_BooksRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The only thing that would make this story better is having more chapters to read. As abducting the author in order to coerce them to write more is generally frowned upon, this five star review will have to do as encouragement for the author to continue writing this lovely story.
- Reader12345679Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The sexual content is sometimes a little overbearing but otherwise this novel promises a Japanese isekai style satire love comedy with good character development and plenty of interesting trope subversion. There is some minor and meh social commentary spilled in there, sadly it's not quite communist level but it will do in it's dankness relative to it's actually proportion in the novel. Also I expect more court politics and strong women making nobles regret trying to get a fast one over the Mc!
- SilimoonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0With the recently released chapters, I decided to finally write my review!
The story is just amazing and I loved every bit until now and I will in the future too, I'm sure.
The initial plot was simple, mundane maybe, but with promising execution, it quickly strayed from that path and it didn't disappoint one bit: This is a story about building, balancing and managing a kingdom and a family.
The slice of life feels wonderfully comfortable in pacing, down to the moment or skipping some time when needed, paired with the wholesome moments, a bliss to read. The harem portion is meticulously shaped and no characters feel the same, rather, everyone is unique in a way and that doesn't make it a repetitive 'new encounter, new member'. Of course, the explicit content tag is not only for show and intimate scenes between the main characters are even described on different levels of detail depending on the situation itself, but the feel-good vibe is always there. A good pinch of fantasy overall gives the story some edges and new opportunities to explore too and the author makes good use of that fact. Don't let the tranquil moments fool you though, there is action right around the corner, and situations of various degrees interrupt the daily lives of the main characters!
The characters themselves were written realistically and every action can be traced back to their thoughts and feelings, or the motivations displayed can be gathered through some brainstorming of known facts and some with educated guesses.
The form and structure is a bit simple maybe, but effective in that way, as it makes reading easier and helps maintain focus; that is the case for me at least. Fleeting grammar issues might occur, but it's rare overall and nothing grave at all.
Now, the sizes of the published chapters are intimidating at first, the maximum chapter size being tested again and again, but after taking some time off my day for reading, I reached the end before I knew it. Moreover, every big chapter - KavalanderzRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Inwas expecting this to be more tongue in cheek, but this balances well between being serious, and taking itself too seriously. It's fun, mostly lighthearted, and easy to read.
Since this is blatantly a sexual harem piece, I'll just simply address; the sex scenes are a bit lacking. There's a LOT of them, but they're short, and often repetitive. The author seems good ar character building, fairly good at world building, but apparently lacks confidence to write heavy sex. The sex is real enough that it isn't an attempt to skirt the issue, it seems, but the scenes just lack depth.
Otherwise, there's some plot holes, the biggest being the entire premise, "why did they decide kings must be "otherworders"?
All in all I like it, and look forward to more, but that's why it got 4 stars from me. - SilverianRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0To begin, the Book is great overall. It's not the very best in any given category but a solid 4 out of 5.
I was very positively surprised by the length of the chapters. And very very very much enjoyed their length.
The only critique I would bring up is that I personally find the harem is a bit to large. Some women just don't have much storyline or are sidelined quite strongly. Despite this the author managed to not make a single one irrelevant so a good job there.
For more a personal preference I would say the nsfw scenes are a bit bland, since many seem to be just repeats. They are enjoyable regardless.
The story overall is shaping up very nicely and I hope to read more of it soon, since I quite enjoy a haram story where the min protagonist is more normal than usual. And the abilities of his wives take a more prominent role
