I've been searching for ages ! reincarnation as scary monster without anti-hero tag ! where MC is a relatively rightoues person struggling to keep his morality in check really hard in the darkgrim and unforgiving world.
Sure, those anti-hero story can sometimes be interesting when I want to get my fix for seeing cold blooded calculating shrewd plan unfold (Overlord, Defense Dungeon, etc). But sometimes that cuts off the fun since scheming would then be a lot less restrained as mc only need to save himself.
Also, the casts broadens a lot at arc 2 (around chapter 20) which is very nice.
The power scale is also handled well since MC isn't really that strong yet so the tension is high.

VERY good novel! If you like nonhuman main characters, Reincarnation stories, and army building, Then you will love this masterpiece!

Many monster stories are written few actually have any real sense of difference involving the Protaganist. Most simply have the MC as a slightly different shade of human. Here there are quite a number of detailed charecters, not just the Protaganist, and a considerableamount of World building.  The action scenes, of which there are many, are also well handled, which certainly is not always the case..

First of all as I always write, my English is not native so I hope you will be nice to me and accept my inevitable mistakes . Well, the novel captivated me from the beginning, the author is simply to be congratulated! I read the 50 fucks chapters in a single day. Author, and your fault for making me love you so much has made me a weird person here in my family for being isolated in the room all day.

This novel is fun and is definitely worth a read but as i read it I can't help thinking of what if the main character wasn't marcus and was the previous owners. Marcus being an isekai protag inside of a female body does, as far as i have read, nothing for the story. Unless there is some feelings the author wanted to get across/ self insert I cannot see any other reason for it narratively. Marcus and a lot of the characters really just feel overly tropey and very one dimensional pretty much formulaic. None of the actions Marcus has taken seem to be different or unique compared to any other character you want to put in instead along with the genderbent moments which seem to be used only for comedic effect but even they just don't land for me. This is just my opinion of course but I honestly believe that having the gender bent maiin character subtracts from the story or at least doesn't add anything worthwhile or significant all it does is instill a feeling of awkwardness to the character. However, I can't say to remove it in good faith since that is the defining trait of the main character and without it they are just John Everyman. Which is fine but just fine.
Aside from the main character feeling flat there is an occasional error wrong "there/their/they're" wrong verb every now and then very rare and probably just slipped under the radar not terrible. The story itself is a classic isekai monster base building in a fantasy world. Quite quick leaving the wilderness behind for my taste but neat that the diplomacy started early not seen that much yet but I'm sure more will appear. The author seems to have a solid style or at least consistant and I didn't notice any problems/ inconsitancies with that. Yeah only thing letting this story down are the characters and the mc. The side chars can be fixed with more screen time but mc is gonna need a lot of work to make him not just your average Joe stuck in a woman in an isekai world.

Not gonna lie I was quite shocked at the fact that the marquis has a good heart, since the vast majority of the things I read had almost all nobles corrupt.  ,*This is just a filler*. Dick hack dup sam sam sam sam sam sam am antant ant athahah papa baba huhu lala dudu book book aords words

Interesting premise, but let down by subpar writing.
It’s a really cool idea to have an inhuman MC, but it started going downhill once the other human characters were introduced. Their POV chapters were really weak and a bit jarring compared to Marcus chapters. (Maybe they should have been threaded in earlier ?)
The isaki start was short thankfully, which is generally a good thing IMO. That’s because they're normally really boring and badly done.
The start of this was no expectation,  it felt very cliche and rushed (Better than being overly long though). Didn’t really give us anytime to learn about the main character, just should have been skipped completely. (Felt like a dream or  a comedy skit without a punchline)
Dialog is generally poor, everyone sounds very similar with painfully drawn out dialog.
Different characters should have different word choices and manners of speaking.
The flow and style of the writing is my biggest complaint. Unfortunately I can't really articulate exactly what's wrong with it.
It's a bit like eating a bad meal, I know I don't like it, but without being a chef I don't know why. Sorry it’s not that helpful (Though honestly I doubt anyone is going to read this anyway)
Was hoping the technical aspects of the writing would improve, but I just can’t go on reading it.

I've read all the current chapters as of 2/24/22 I must say this started of perfect, the world building is good, the MC (was) likeable & the story seem to be developing greatly, the Grammar is pretty good excellent even,  but it went downhill practically after Blue show up, because Markus our MC doesn't get stronger or even finally accept his life. Blue on the other hand our apparently main protagonist .. more like our actual MC & is getting plenty screen time & constantly powering up ... Accidentally.. which is frankly frustrating. Over a 100 chp and Markus still is practically the weakest link ... This includes his/her army of drones that apparently can't stand up to nothing without being slaughtered , he/she even had a chapter about making traps for the orcs , but didn't even matter because he didn't even attack the town he/she was residing 🤷. I'll be coming back of course to see if the story will redeem itself (in my eyes) but right now it's not my cup of tea.

I've tried to get through this story a couple of times in the past. Each time, I was turned away by the bad grammar, terrible characterizations, and constant POV shifts to other characters I don't care about. But this time I buckled down and decided that I was going to give it another shot. I keep seeing this story up near the top of the 'trending' page and the premise is very interesting, so against my better judgement I gave it yet another chance. They say that trying something over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. I definitely feel like I've lost a lot of my remaining sanity after spending a day slogging through this webnovel.
(The rest of this will contain spoilers so if you still care for some reason, you have been warned)
First of all, the main character is incredibly obnoxious and characterized in a conceptually weak way. He is short-sided, bad at planning, ignorant, and stupid. He swears constantly, going on prolonged screaming rants when something doesn't go his way. It's incredibly distracting and adds literally nothing to the story. It's just... gross, for lack of a better word. He can't express his emotions in any way besides screaming obscenities at the sky, which isn't enjoyable to read. On that note, he is also incredibly crass and rude about basically everything. It's impossible for there to ever be any weight to anything that happens in the story because immediately following anything Marcus demonstrates his 'wit' by, you guessed it, swearing up at the sky about how he is angry or how he is pleased. I just can't take any of it seriously.
This isn't so much a problem anymore, but back when he was alone in the forest Marcus would constantly talk to himself, letting the audience know exactly what he was thinking. It was boring and unrealistic since no normal, non-scizophrenic person talks to themselves as much as this dude. He would talk about his desires, his hopes and plans, in a way that was painfully ex
