I am not going to lie, when I saw the part about a grown man being reincarnated into a baby's body I was a little skeptical. That setup tends to lead to some unsavory scenes, but this story handled things in a tasteful manner. The world is unique, but does not have overly complicated systems that are hard to follow. Great read for fans of progression fantasy and Isekai. Onto the breakdown:
Style 5/5: Well done. The power system is easy to follow and the first-person POV feels immersive. The pacing felt a little quick at times, but that can be a good thing in and of itself.
Story 5/5: Interesting take on a classic Isekai hook: young man is given a chance to go to reincarnate in a fantasy world with OP powers. The telekinesis is a cool concept with more powers/progression teased for the future. I especially like how the author laid a bit of groundwork for a possible return to Earth in the future without it feeling jarring or out-of-the-blue.
Grammar 4.75/5: Pretty close to perfect. I noticed a few out of place/missing commas and one misspelled word. That is pretty much the cream of the crop when it comes to Royal Road web serials.
Character 5/5: I like the MC, he approaches things in an interesting way and is competent with a reason behind it (trained in martial arts and has endured extensive physical and mental suffering and come out stronger). The side characters are also interesting and there have only been a few so far, so I am excited for what this story will hold in the future.
Overall 5/5: Great Isekai story that takes some of the classic elements and provides a unique twist. MC is competent and interesting. The conflict is easy to understand with the potential for more complexity as the plot develops. Great work!

    Overall Score: 5/5
An engaging and action-packed story with unique world-building, an intriguing power system, and memorable characters. The pacing is mostly solid, though some fights could use more tension before resolutions. The protagonist’s journey is compelling, and the setting feels alive and immersive.
    Style Score: 4.5/5
The writing is descriptive and fluid, making for an easy and enjoyable read. However, some action sequences can feel a bit repetitive in phrasing, and certain scenes have excessive exposition that slightly slows down the pace.
    Grammar Score: 4.5/5
Grammar is very strong, with only occasional awkward phrasing or minor word repetition. Nothing disrupts the reading experience, but a light proofreading pass could smooth out small inconsistencies.
    Story Score: 5/5
The plot is engaging and unpredictable, with a great mix of action, exploration, and mystery. The Celestial Tree, tailed monkeys, and aether abilities make for a fascinating world. Some major battles could be drawn out a little more for added impact, but the storytelling remains compelling.
    Character Score: 5/5
The protagonist and supporting cast are well-developed, with strong personalities and fun interactions. Six-Tails and Four-Tails add humor and charm, while the protagonist’s journey is both entertaining and intriguing. However, some fights resolve a bit too easily, making challenges feel less intense than they could be.
    Final Thoughts:
This story excels in world-building, character interactions, and action sequences. A few refinements in pacing and fight tension could enhance the experience even further, but overall, it’s an exciting and enjoyable read! Highly recommended for fans of adventure and fantasy! 🚀🔥

The story immediately plunges the reader into a world of intrigue and danger. The opening scene, with Kane overhearing his parents' tense conversation, effectively sets a tone of suspense and mystery. The reader is instantly drawn in, wanting to know more about the "organization" and the "souvenir" his father has acquired.
Kane is a relatable protagonist. His internal monologue, filled with a mix of sarcasm and genuine concern for his family, makes him feel like a real person. His reactions to the unfolding situation are believable, grounding the more fantastical elements of the story in a sense of reality.
The pacing is excellent. The chapter moves quickly, revealing just enough information to keep the reader guessing without overwhelming them. The introduction of the men in black suits and the subsequent confrontation is handled masterfully, creating a palpable sense of tension. The abrupt and violent turn of events at the end is shocking and emotionally impactful, leaving the reader breathless and desperate to know what will happen next.
The writing style is clear and engaging. The author uses vivid descriptions and strong verbs to bring the scenes to life. The dialogue feels natural and contributes to the overall sense of realism. The emotional weight of the final scene is particularly well-conveyed, leaving a lasting impression on the reader.
    Strengths:
    * Intriguing premise: The mystery surrounding the organization and the "serum" is compelling.
    * Relatable protagonist: Kane's thoughts and feelings resonate with the reader.
    * Excellent pacing: The story unfolds at a brisk and engaging pace.
    * Clear and engaging writing style: The prose is vivid and impactful.
    * Emotionally resonant ending: The tragic events at the end of the chapter create a strong emotional hook.
    Overall:
This first chapter is a powerful and gripping introduction to the story. It effectively establishes the central conflict, introduces a compelling protagonist, and leaves the reader with a str

This story is an Isekai chosen one story line that includes a tragically mistreated MC Kane, who suffers and loses everything in his first life. He goes on to be blessed by a Godess and reincarnated with the mission from that same godess to save that new world. He is reincarnated into a world of magic with unique magical powers that may make him a hero but may also cause him to be rejected by others in this new world as well.
This is not a NEW concept for a story, but these tropes are popular for a reason and there are many unique ways to use these tropes. This story does a good job to create a unique and engaging story out of those popular tropes.
The pacing of this story has enough minor conflicts to be engaging but it is a slow burning story with the MC not getting reincarnated until chapter 5 and his story following him from birth.
The grammar and spelling for the story were on point.
World building is being done well. there wasn't a big expo dumb. It was presented slowly through the experiences and conversations of the characters of the story. This is a part that a lot of stories get wrong. The author did a great job.
The characters are well written, relatable and entertaining. great job
Overall the story was very good and entertaining. You should give it a read.

This author and I decided to do a review swap. I read the first three chapters and wanted to give my thoughts about the beginning of this story:
    Story:
MC gets kidnapped by a secret organization after his father steals a strange liquid that gives people telekinetic abilities (I assume, only finished to chapter 3.) I love the premise of it, with lots of ways the story can go from here. I'd be curious to see how the MC's motivations go beyond vengeance.
    Style:
Modern day Japan from as far as I can tell, a fun and classic setting.
    Grammar:
I noticed a few small issues, but they are issues I make too and only got made aware of after I had contacted an editor. Nothing bad here.
Character Score: The MC has the fun type of character edge to him. I think people will enjoy him. There was also a mysterious woman who gave me CC vibes from Code Geass (my favorite anime and a character trope I enjoy.) I think these two will have a fun dynamic together.
Overall I greatly enjoyed what I had read! If you are reading this review, I think you should give this story a shot, especially if you are into mixes of magic and modern aesthetic.

ICMTwMM is a supernatural narrative following Kane reeds, written in a descriptive and engaging style with strong words and descriptors used throughout the prose. Overall, it's style is good and there are no massive glaring issues that I can see with it. The narrative has a cocktail of drama, action and mystery in the form of the supernatural forces, such as Kane's abilities - as well as what may lie ahead for Kane in the future and how everything potentially may tie back in on itself.
Character wise, Kane has an incredibly strong dynamic with his father, which impacts more upon the character driven rollercoaster of emotions he faces. The grammar is good with clear dialogue enhancing the characterisations of these people.
