Fun little HFY-type story regarding ways humans can help - without simply brute forcing the problem.
Ok, maybe there is a little brute-forcing considering that the solution for getting rid of the parasites is basically just "kill 'em dead." But then again that's what you do with most parasites.
Overall a nice read and a good look at the better parts of the human race!

A great fun story about humans finding big space friends. It has a fun feel-good vibe and some interesting concepts. It does not focus much on personal experiences and takes a more overall approach to its storytelling. I first found it via NetNarator and started reading it on Reddit.
Overall a fun read and highly recommended.

A short story about an alien seeking help and humanity providing it, now you would think that this its most likely to turn out wrong, so did i and i could not have been more wrong, this a simple and wholesome story that i 100% recommend, it did leave me wanting more chapters.

I have read everything the author has written and enjoyed every bit of it. It is original and exciting. The descriptions of characters,  situations, and environments are so real the reader is iinstantly immersed  into the story.
Even with the strange world he is now inhabiting,  James maintains his humanity, conscience, and soul.

    Like the title said...
It start classic. Go around it and change for the better. We'll build and good storytelling. Almost grounded in it's sci-fi techno-magic, so pretty believable.
It's also almost naive and childlike full of hope. But damn if it is not good to read, and make you feel better.
    Sometimes you really need it.

This takes the First Contact in a different direction than most, going for a hopeful and peaceful first contact situation. The way the story is laid out much like a historical account is rather dry in spots and cuts out a great deal of introspection, fear and concerns about humanity itself as nothing is said of what must have been a great struggle to reach this point. In many ways, it feels like a whitewashed historical account because it lacks a lot of human elements to it. While the story itself is clear and hopeful, it became more and more concerning how easy it all went.
This is a short story and the framing is good, the prose is solid, but it just lacked the depth and the genuine 'human element' that would come from everything we believe in being challenged - right down to how such technology and cooperation was even feasible as was described within. And that omission makes it feel profoundly odd to me.

I found this to be an excellent short story. It was fun to read, and had a great concept.
I'll be looking forward to more by the same author.
Recommend for fans of sci-fi that enjoy works which considers how we'll interact with life from another world.
    My compliments to the author.

Ok, this is my first ever review of a story, so bare with me.
First, the writing is not pefect, i have the feeling writing of the story could have been a little bit less in a third person, and a little more in a first person style.
It feels more like a report than a story most of the time.
Or better: It feels like a very good outline for a story to be written sometimes.
But, it is a very fun read, it has not much fighting (which i find very good) and the vibe of the story is what i would call wholesome, again a good thing.
Sooo, a big THANK YOU to the Author for giving me good feelings after reading this story.

Nice short story, isn't really compelling because there aren't characters or drama. It is the story of the first contact of humanity with an alien friendly race told like an history book on the subject, The idea of symbiontic relations between the races  is interesting but the novel isn't emotionally engaging.
