How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
Community Rating
Description
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again.
Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay.
What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect?
Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first.
This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters!
Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills

Gotta try though. Have to stop laughing, or snorting coffee out my nose. Or whatever else just happened.
There's a small handful of stories here that take gonzo shitposting zaniness to a glorious new level. This is one of them.
It's also a pretty entertaining adventure story with a fun cast of characters and an asshole god-daddy to be killed. As if any self-respecting meme lord reader would care. (Assuming such people exist.) But, you know. Full disclosure & all.
Has some mature content. Which means that basically every 13-year-old on the planet has read worse. Some concerned adults may be concerned though.
If you're in the frame of mind for something over-the-top, this is worth a try. It's a re-write, and the wit, memery, and snark all seem honed to an even sharper razor edge vs. the first go. 😎 - Orangewave SupremeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story is a ton of fun to read, it is full memes and horrible grammar but that just adds to the humor. It is the perfect story for an avid shitposter. The author is terrible when it comes to not taking eternity long breaks between chapters but hey he's less awful about it now, so upsides.
The style of the story is just perfect for what it's trying to do. It is not at all serious most of the time which greatly lends itself to the comedy of the story.
The story is surprisingly complex and fleshed out for something that is mainly meme based. I know this from reading it pre-rewrite. It is entertaining all the time and dives into the meat of the story when the plot requires it. It doesn't feel very forced either as the plot flows smoothly.
I cannot in good conscience give the biding train wreck that is this story's grammar more than three stars. The sentences are very readable but the sheer amount of meme-speech makes having proper grammar near impossible.
The characters are fleshed out and complex beings which, again, is entirely unexpected in such a comedic context. Not once have I felt a character to be a cardboard cutout with no personality or depth.
All in all, this story is very entertaining and I think you should read it.
