How To Be A Villain

Description

Ryan was just like your ordinary weeb - loved to play games, watch anime, and dream of waifus.

That is, up until he had a 'nice' collision with Truck-kun one day, and his soul transmigrated into a body that wasn't his in a different world where skills and magic didn't exist only in fantasy books.

In the new world, he has to train hard and do whatever means to survive. In a world with magic and powers, it is survival of the fittest after all.

In the new world , fate had dealt him a bad hand by giving him a mediocre affinity with mana and thecheat-likeabilities other transmigrators usually had in those mangas weren’t so easily accessible for him - he had to fight tooth and nail to get them.

But worst of all, he transmigrated and became thevillain.

What To Expect :

- Story is a slow burn.

- MC starts weak but slowly gets stronger.

- No harem, unfortunately.

- MC that has a sense of humour (hopefully)

- MC will most likely be reliant on his intelligence and experience rather than on overpowered skills.  But of course, if he has any, why bother?

( I am a new writer, so do expect some grammar mistakes here and there, but I will immediately rectify them if they are pointed out.

Updates will continue three times a week , mainly on Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday.

I think this web fiction is a bit of a diamond in the rough. It's not perfect, but it's definitely moving in the right direction and slowly getting better chapter by chapter.
First off, I love the character of Ryan - a very flawed protagonist who seems destined to become a villain. He certainly has a lot of issues before coming to an isekai situation, so it's fun to see his reactions to all the weird fantastic situations he now finds himself in.
The story is a slow-burn, which presents a double-edge sword. On one hand, I really like seeing Ryan and his reactions to his new world. I also like that the story doesn't go easy on Ryan. Instead of starting from zero, like most progressions, Ryan actually feels like he has the deck stacked actively against him, especially with C- aptitude. On the other hand, however, it can make the story drag when Ryan isn't on center stage.
The grammar was adequate from what I could see. There were a couple of errors, but not nearly enough to drive me out of the story. However, I did feel the info-dumps, particularly in some of the world-building, was a bit frustrating sometimes.
Still, I feel like Ryan is ultimately a pretty memorable character with a lot of funny and memorable reactions and I'm really curious to see where his story goes from here. The writer shows a willingness to accept feedback and make corrections, so from what I see, the only place to go is up from here (for the fiction at least. Ryan's a different story...)
