Description

17-year-old Silas was an average guy. He was handsome, had good grades, and a few hand-picked friends.

Silas had it good. And then he died.

Before he knew it, he was training to become a Reaper, and is introduced to the Reaper Clan, a mysterious and secretive organization that fights against the equally mysterious Gray Clan. Silas must learn new skills, face deadly challenges, and connect with his ancestor. He must learn what his purpose is in this second life, and do his best to fulfill it. Can he fulfill his purpose when he doesn't know where his allies lay?

Only time, and his own daring and talent, not to mention a little help from his ancestor, will tell.

I really liked this captivating story. It's a must read if you ask me. Though it's a little short.
First of all it is not the typical reaper story but something completely new.
It's a little rough around the edges sometimes but it makes you long for more.

Not bad. Reminds me of bleach. Guy gets hit by car, dies, but gets lucky and is chosen to get monster-killing powers, joins the monster-killer organization and is now training to become a stronger monster killer; he shows talent. Not completely original but it works. The writing's pretty good quality. Decent chance you'd enjoy it, if you enjoy other stories like this.
The situation is like any random teen's dream-come-true though, he gets reincarnated and basically goes back to his normal life. But instead of going to boring school, he's now swinging magic scythes and fighting monsters instead. And getting thrown free money at him xD Nothing bad happened in the story so far, basically. At this point he's perfectly happy the car hit him

Overall the story was fun to read, the whole theme and premise was pretty cool. I liked how the character was pretty relatable and the story was very chill at the beginning, with a good pace. However, after 31, the pace suddenly seems to get really rapid, with events occurring strangely.
It's also off how the main character attacks a fortified position full of veteran enemies when he hasn't even finished training.
But overall the story is a great read, I really enjoyed it.
