- The_Luckiest_Shy_GuyRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I've never been super good at writing or analyzing a book, and I only read the first 3 chapters, so I'm not gonna give an advanced review, but I'll give it my best shot. I think the author is just trying to go way too fast, and they're not really bothering to tell you what's going on. I personally dislike most poetry, where the "true meaning" is hidden, and this definitely reads like poetry. I don't really know whether that's intentional or not, neither can I say whether it is good, but I much more prefer to know wtf is going on before having to analyze poetry. Maybe something similar to the Child of Orellen's approach, where it mixes the thoughts the are having characters and their actions. It makes it a lot more relatable. You've gotta catch my interest in some way, then you incorporate the poetic stuff, because you have a lot more context to go with it and make sense of it. Also, sorry that this review isn't very cohesive or coherent. I was just writing what popped into my head.
