Hero of Lumaria

In the land of Lumaria an ancient magical sword has just reappeared after being lost for centuries.

Then it disappeared again. Now the land is crawling with adventurers searching for the sword.

In the everyday world, Peter is at a party with the Tolkien Society, and goes out for some fresh air by the lake, on a moonlit night.

Then he falls into the lake, and lands on cobblestones.It must be a dream, of course.

Then a band of adventurers step out of the nearby inn, and identify Peter as their missing last member: their hero.

This work is currently on hiatus. It's my first attempt at a book-length work, and was begun as part of the November 2023 Writathon.
