Every culture has its legends. Those whose mythos is echoed from generation to generation. People of such consequence that their deeds are known in lands far removed from their origins. Individuals whose exploits are unparalleled by even the most venerated of Dragonkind.

Such is the story of Victor Deus.

Unlike similar legends, there was little need to embellish the deeds that he and his allies accomplished. Some remember him as a savior, others as a tyrant. There are whole worlds that worship him as a god, and others that decry him as a devil. All of these varied cultures agreed, however, that he was fiercely protective of his allies and dealt swiftly with his enemies.

How does one become a figure loved and feared in equal measure? The story is a long one, and I hope you will bear with me as this saga unfolds. One thing you must know about Victor Deus is that he was not given time to be a child. His formative years were full of training and despair.

Therefore, that is where we will begin.

A boy, barely able to hold a sword.

A land, unforgiving to even the strongest warriors.
