Description

The world ends, game system is invoked, yada yada. After the system set by God causes Thomas Crowe to go crazy, he swears he will kill God, thus getting deemed a Heretic. How will the story go from there? Will he slay God or will he die trying to resist?Mature cause curse words will be used and sex scenes described.. More tags as the story develops.There is references and terms used from other stories. I will link the references If I feel it's not as obviousIf you can give me your opinions in the comments it's my first time writing and I'd love some feedback.Credits to Yang_God_Of_Games_And_Power for the cover! <3

    I’m gonna keep this short and sweet, cuz i kinda suck at writing reviews so i’ll leave this here till someone better can do one which gives the story the justice it deserves.

    Basically, there are two main things i like about this story. The POV of the MC being the beginnings of the classic game-world bad guy, the demon king . Not only does this offer us a chance to see the other side to the classic hero-demon king story but it allows the author to go all out on the anti-hero bloodthirsty horrific front in a way which makes sense.
    Secondly I like the system of stats and titles in this story. Yes i know lots of other story;s have a similar system, but i still really like the titles and how the stats are made etc.
    …. this is why i suck at reviews…
    Anyway. The story flows well, it is quite fast paced and while it looks like the character has plenty of time to grow and some crazy good development on the way so far there hasnt been too much interaction. Maybe give him a summoning skill to get demon minions as well as the evil players who i hope will gravitate to him later on, maybe forming and 8 heavenly generals kinda thing by the end XD lol
    The style is very good. I like that it can adopt a light tone, though i wonder if perhaps this might detract from the demon king vibes you could pull off here. Like you could end up having him do some horrible stuff under his maddnes or bloodlust. Maybe you intend to develop the light tone just so that when he finally does snap the beat will drop in an even more epic fashion. I dont know and i’m looking forward to finding out.
    The grammer is top-notch as far as i can see, or at least it is not noticably bad in a way which detracts from the story, which unfortunatly happens a lot on RRL...
    I’ll probs update this as stuff goes on so that i can keeep the review speculation at a minimum, and in case anyone is reading upwards….

    Let me preface this review by stating that this is (obviously) my opinion, but I do feel that people could and should take away something from this, even if they do not agree.
    My general opinion thusfar (Chapter 23) is one of excitement and bliss, due to the mere qualities this story provides. The title may have implicated a paradox, but is definitely not the case, just stick with me here.
    Style
    The author clearly has experience in writing, be it fiction or non-fiction. This shows in both the well-written perspectives and the use of more complicated and dedicated language. The smooth transition between 3rd and 1st person perspective is also a feat worth mentioning. All in all, quite well written, even if some spelling mistakes make it through the edit, a nice read.
    Story
    The story is one out of many, therefore the "repetition" in the title, due to the apocalyptic setting and the god-defying behavior from the protagonist. These themes are quite popular at the moment, but that does not mean they have been implemented very well most of the time. Now, to mention the first part of the title, "Unique". The reason this story is currently doing so well and deserves even more attention, is in the way that this story is unique. Both the world-changing aspect and the mystery that surrounds the current setting of the universe, create an atmospere of desiring more information and story. The fact that (thusfar) many aspects of myths and legends from all around the world have been used to incorperate one big scene, is very appealing to the imagination of the readers. Very well done.
    Grammar
    As I mentioned before, this story sports a dedicated lexicon and is rather generous with pleasant language-structures, making this a very nice read. I also stated that spelling errors occur occasionally, but nothing mayor, ensuring there are no abrupt and unwanted interruptions in the reading process. It can be improved, as language is never perfect, but you can be assured of quality.
