- DyingSusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So, I stumbled into this story expecting just another dark fantasy read to help me unwind between work and the usual chaos of life. What I got was something way more layered, gritty, and kind of haunting in a way that sticks with you. There's this real sense that everything is building toward something bigger, and I’m hooked.
Kael himself is probably my favorite thing about the story so far. He’s this blend of human and undead, and you feel it. He doesn’t come off as some edgy grim reaper clone, he’s complicated. He jokes and curses like a guy trying to hold onto something familiar, but then he’ll kill someone coldly, and you’re reminded: yeah, he’s 'not' fully human anymore. The moment with the elder was awesome. Not just because Kael murders someone, but because Lissana sees it, and for the first time, you see her fear him. That cracked their dynamic wide open and made everything more real.
Speaking of Lissana, her side of the story is shaping up well. She’s not just the token girl following the main guy around, she feels grounded, with her own reactions and fears. The tension between her and Roy is starting to bubble, especially with how Roy’s paranoia is growing. That moment where she hears the echoes of Kael’s fight and just knows something has changed, that gave me chills. You can feel the rift starting, and it’s painful in a good way. This makes you want Roy to suffer, makes you want to see Lissana's reaction to Kael.
Murnacht, the necromancer who straps Kael down and cuts into him like it’s just another Tuesday, is creepy as hell in the best way. He’s cold, clinical, and smart, which makes him dangerous. I like that he doesn’t even see Kael as a person, just a tool, and the fact that Kael lets him think that (for now) adds to the tension. Their scenes were disturbing, but really cool.
The pacing is solid. Nothing drags. Every scene seems to either build the world or push the characters into darker, more tangled situations. The writing style helps too, it’s c - J'Sun CoxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really like it so far I really hope it continues I would love to see more of the magic at work and some more information on how the power scaling works but other then thar it been so great please keep it up I am excited to see what's next
- TheWonderNerdRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Okay, so I just read the last available chapters and I have to say, it's pretty good so far! It has its pros and cons, but by my tastes it has been showing a more gory approach to necromancy, even though there were still no magic at play.
The story is fast-paced, maybe a little too fast at times. It feels like the author is trying to cram a lot into the first few chapters, which is a bit overwhelming. But it's also what keeps you hooked, you know? You just want to see what happens next. The characters are still a bit rough around the edges, but they're relatable.
The concept itself isn't anything revolutionary, but the author's approach is unique up till now. It's dark, it's gritty, and it's not afraid to get a little graphic. I'm not gonna lie, some of the scenes were a bit much for me, but I guess that's the point of dark fantasy, right?
There were a few typos here and there, but nothing too distracting. Overall, I'd say it's a promising start. The author clearly has a good grasp of storytelling and world-building, and I'm excited to see where they take it. I'd recommend giving it a try! - Ni-ggRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom Bom TERMINE TERMINE
