I think this story will easily become my next obsession, I can't wait to see what happens with Geram as he goes on this revengeful adventure in cultivation.
Style: Once upon a time I read a series that had really great demon fights and demon mechanics. That story is irrelevant, but it has left me craving more. I finally found a story to fill that void: Hell of a System. But like, it's better than the original thing I craved. That is one of the many strengths of this story, these gritty demonic fight scenes that work to build the world, the characters, and the plot all at once. These elements all balance out as a fluid being so none distract from the other.
Story: This story deals with some dark themes, as one would expect with a story about a demon core cultivator. Lots of cultivation stories deal with demons and I'm enjoying that element mixed into modern themes with the university and the cities. Geram is going to go through one hell of a journey before this story is done, that is for sure.
Character: Characters are nicely fleshed out, I can tell who is talking without needing dialogue tags which is super cool. I really like all of them so far, we are given a good view of who the main cast is and I love that, it's nice to know who they are and have a little backstory early on in the story. Geram is an incredible vessel with which to view this story, I'm enjoying seeing this world through his lens. I ALSO JUST WANT TO GIVE HIM A HUG. Ahem. Geram is going through so much between family problems, death, fighting supernatural beings, seeking revenge... I just want to hug him.
Grammar: I didn't notice anything wrong. Honestly, I only care about grammar mistakes if they distract me from the story, which nothing in this did so we're golden.
Thank you Disambiguation for sharing your story with us, it is quite tasty. and your cover is 10/10.

This is, without a doubt, probably one of the deepest LitRPG novels I've read - and I've read a lot of them. I don't mean 'deep' in a philosophical sense, either; I mean 'deep' in a worldbuilding sense. Every word on the page oozes with character, whether it's about the system, the gods, or the particular cultivation-type magic system the story employs. It's a breath of creative fresh air, in short.
I have no complaints about grammar. Disambiguation is good with their words, and while I usually find a few things to nitpick here and there, I don't notice anything with these chapters.
Style is fantastic. Like I've said, the whole story oozes character; the worldbuilding is packed into the writing without distracting us from the actual plot or events of the story. Combat is fast-paced and fun, mystery moments are appropriately intriguing, and while the MC is the type to try for cold rationality, he does have his soft spots.
The story doesn't shy away from adult themes or ideas. There are clearly deeper themes regarding the ethics of demonic possession and whatnot, but the story starts off by throwing Geram into the deep end of anger and revenge; it remains to be seen how much he'll actually stick to those plans, though, because it's very clear that he's more than that.
Which leads us into character. Every character is written with a unique personality and voice, to the point that if Disambiguation didn't use any dialogue tags I'm pretty sure I'd still be able to figure out who's saying what. Every character is also unique and interesting and fun to read about.
Super excited to see where else this is going!

This is my new favorite litRPG. The author knows exactly how to hook you early and trickle in information, setting, and style JUST RIGHT. Geram is an interesting protagonist whose identity is told partially through great narration and partially through interesting skills that really showcase what kind of a cold, focused person Geram is.
It has all the ingredients of a good revenge story and I for one can't wait to see where Geram's demon slaying journey takes him. And more than anything else, I can't wait to see new and interesting demon designs and personalities!

It's a great storyline written by a great author.  I started reading yesterday and I'm now through chapter 13 and hooked.  Definitely a great book to read if you have some time and especially if you like SilverLinings.   If possible, just fix any issues like typos or grammar/punctuation. 🙂
I hope you keep giving us awesome content like this!

This one's an up-and-comer to keep an eye on! Disambiguation's worldbuilding, two-part system combining soul levels with traditional litRPG, and phenomenal characters all pop off the page. I enjoyed every minute of my read-through.
Style: Disambiguation's worldbuilding in just the first chapter creates a believable world, and the main character's juxtaposed internal monologue and external dialogue give's a very...
    "Vulcans never lie?" she asked
    "Never." Spock lied.
...kind of vibe. The verbal sparring is fantastic, and the first combat pops off the page.
Story: Geram starts out as a very angry young man with a goal; revenge for his murdered mother. That burning desire for revenge has gotten him into a rather dangerous predicament, but also leads to a chance for incredible power. Thematically, the story is dark, although there are moments of humor sprinkled through that keep it from being too grimdark for my tastes.
Grammar: I didn't find anything worth bringing up. I'm sure there's a mistake or two somewhere in these chapters, but I couldn't find it.
Character: Geram, the main character, is a young man consumed by the desire for revenge. He's been enacting his plan, but suffers a teeny tiny setback in the first chapter. He ranges from snarky and manipulative to someone who genuinely cares about his friends and those he loves. The other characters' voices, motivations, and personalities also fly off the page. In addition to the intricate system, Geram and the other characters are a highlight of this story.
You should definitely be reading this!
