After taking his own life in an attempt to escape the emptiness of existence, Cordell finds himself transported to Wisteria, a chaotic, and dystopian city in a parallel world of Earth.

With a disparate set of skills, and unique traits Cordell must navigate this harsh cyberpunk reality and learn to enjoy it, grappling with his newfound purpose and the reigning forces at play.

It's a very promising story so far (Chp. 5), and I hope the author will continue with it once Real Life [tm] releases them from its claws (finals were mentioned in the comments).
If I had to critique anything it would be that some of the conversations the protagonist has with other people he meets can at times seem a bit 'video gamey'.
With that I means it feels more like he is talking with Questgiver NPCs rather than real people with consciousness and a personality instead of scripted responses meant to advance the plot. Of course that might just be me so YMMV.
