I plowed through HMM1 in about a day. A lot of harem/haremlit writers (myself included) tend to take their books pretty seriously, and write about heavy topics. This book has ALL of the hallmarks of an awesome harem book, but with one notable exception: it's FUN.
There are hidden jokes throughout that made me literally laugh out loud. The characters are deep and complex, but the plot feels like playing through a particularly fun level of a video game. The author knows when to use emotion and when to have a laugh, and it makes for a wild ride.
Would recommend without hesitation.

The story starts off unlike other Isekai, with a really blood boiling scene of death.
MC is strong from the get go, so there is no waiting for action, of both kinds!
Characters are fleshed out well with ample screen time and we get to see some good interaction with the main character and his 'harem'. Author has taken some pains to segregate the NSFW scenes. It does impediment story progression a bit but can be skipped over as well.
Updates to the story is timely.
No complaints about grammar or language.
Looking forward to all the chaos Luis creates!

the MC can be dumb sometimes throughout the book but overall it was really good, I am kind of left wanting it to have a slice-of-life tag for some more freedom in the 3 books because I felt this book's path was set in stone. but the pacing was really really good, no rush, and the characters were lovable and will be missed. I don't give out 4.5 stars willy nilly good job with these books/the 5 star is only for my favorite book which even I do not know until I'm on my deathbed because I still have a lot more books to read.
