Description

Paulie is back and no longer on the run, instead he is hunting after his original antagonists with the help of his friends in the local adjudicators forces.  But things won't be easy and criminals don't just fall into their cells without a struggle, he will need to fight for the justice that he seeks.  But even when the cell doors are slammed closed and the keys are tossed away, not everything is as simple as it may at first appear.  There are whisperings in the dark places of the world, and the dark whispers one name in particular.  Paulie’s.  His search for justice may take him beyond the walls of the alien city of Korscam and far from the safety of his friends, but Paulie has never been one to shy from duty when it rears its ugly head.  The very fate of the world seems to hang in the balance and Paulie is holding the scales.  Which way will he tip things, does he even have the power to make the wrong things right?  Will Paulie lose his humanity in this new and hostile place, or will he find new strength amongst the stars and crush the darkness that lurks inside his own mind?  One thing is for sure.  Paulie and his friends have their work cut out for them, and despite all that stands in their way they may just find powerful new allies to call upon in their time of need.

There are no glaring issues with the grammer, the text is easy on the eyes, overall the plot does not confuse the reader too much, and most of the characters are somewhat memorable. It has big Jverse vibes, with some grimdark 40k-ishness in there. Paulie himself is very well balanced: not an unstopable messiah for all of xeno kind, nor is he an Apocalypse Cop that is constantly on 1 HEALTH/MORALE. Also the romance/relationships are pretty cute overall. I wholeheartedly recommend

Great story with a lot of potential here is my consideration:
The plot turns out to be very interesting and at the same time intricate and very difficult to predict, making it a highlight (I suppose that we are just at the begging of the story ad we are yet to reach the real start of the story making all of this very exciting for the endless possibilities to come)
I appreciate the amount of different physiognomies presented by the alines as very complex, avoiding the usual story of the and equal to a man but blue, this shows the dedication of the author. Unfortunately, some of the aliens turn out to be difficult to picture making it difficult to imagine some interactions
    no apparent grammatical errors
The narration is good but sometimes comes across as a bit jerky since it is seen from only one point of view, making some scenes a bit dull due to the non-participation of the other characters. It would be interesting to implement multipoint-of-view narration giving more dynamicity and depth to the other characters.
