Lone Hope

A young man awakens broken and bloodied in the home of a stranger. His last memory is not of life—but of his death. With no name and no past, he finds himself under the care of a mysterious trickster who wields impossible magic and claims he can help. Though wary of his rescuer's intentions,  the young man begins to learn the ancient magic of the Nihil, guided by an artifact of untold power that the stranger fiercely protects.

But peace is fleeting. A god ascends from the depths below, hellbent on erasing the boy from existence. With no memory of why the divine would fear or hate him, he is forced to flee, haunted by questions and shadowed by growing powers he does not yet understand.

As he journeys across a world he cannot remember, forging fragile bonds and uncovering truths long buried, he begins to understand who he was—and who he must become. For the god will not stop. And to survive, to protect the ones he loves, and to reclaim his forgotten soul, he must do the unthinkable:

He must kill a god.
