In a world filled with magic, beauty, and horrors in equal measure, a struggle between The Fates and Chaos grants an orphan girl magics not intended for her. Her fate changed. Alessandra finds herself dragged from the streets to the height of nobility. This is the story of her, her adoptive family, the world in which they live, and the struggles, large and small, that they face.

There is no system here! If that's what you want, you should probably look elsewhere. Many tropes from system stories will appear, and probably be made fun of.

I added the sexual content tag because while there will be no sex scenes in this story, sexual situations and sexual abuse/trauma will be in the story. While not described in any way, shape, or form, mentions of child prostitution and those who carry it out are in the story. This is in furtherance of the plot and not for shock value. I thought long and hard if I should even include it but ultimately decided that as historically it happened in the era that I am basing my world on, it should be included as an evil that needs to be eradicated.

Violence and war are integral parts of this world. While not gratuitous, I do not sugarcoat that battle is bloody. Expect blood-covered protagonists and sheep with teeth not meant for a herbivore.

This is a comedic grimdark; a single chapter can quickly go from little kids playing tag to those same children looting bodies. You have been warned.
