Hackers, Dragons, and Fighter Jets

Locus is a small-time hacker who lives in a coffin hotel in the rainy city of Saint Ingrid, in northern Taisia. He once dreamed of being a real fighter pilot, but an autoimmune disorder makes his body incompatible with the necessary cybernetic implants. Instead, he uses a traditional method of hacking that involves flying a fighter jet through cyberspace.

The Emil Nadiya Company is a global entertainment mega-corporation headquartered in the nearby city of Saint Vaska. The company pioneered the cybernetics required to create heavily-augmented humans capable of merging consciousness with an AI. The company employs these augmented humans in a clandestine war against competitors. This draws the ire of Lucrezia, the CEO of the House Anna-Rhea Physical Realm Holdings Company, a Purple Dragon from another world.

When Locus accepts a job to add a falsified birth certificate to a hospital database, he considers it a routine run. However, he is quickly pulled into a larger plot. Together with Woodsman, the mortal spawn of a Gold Dragon, and his crew of cybernetic criminals, Locus works to plant a spy in the augmented human program.
