This is a fun story. Though clearly inspired by RE:Monster. The story could have been different by concentrating on the harem tag more and have more personalities for the side characters, which I think RE:Monster clearly lack. Unfortunately, by the time I got here, it was already on hiatus. It would be great if the writer could come back.

What I really like is that the main character isn't one of those "justice warriors". He will steal abilties from anyone or anything regardless of circumstance. Also, not everything is handed to him on a silver platter. He has to work for what he gains, but so far, the more he fights the stronger he gets. One thing is that the chapters may be short, but the posting schedule so far seems to be consistent so that more than makes up for it.

From what I've been reading for the first 20 chapters, the story is great. The author is also very receptive, so if there's any small plot holes or problems in the story, he fixes them immediately. The levels are simple and there's also not too many complicated systems going on for the MC to get stronger; making the story easier to follow. The author also has been improving tremendously in terms of his ability to describe events and also in explaining how other side characters are feeling. Also the pace of the story is good and he's not getting too strong too fast, but he's also not getting no abilities at all. Over time he's getting skills bit by bit. The MC also isn't some beta who relies on morals or ideals to make decisions so I like that.
Some small things to be fixed (which can be fixed over time): the style can be a bit better, but for me at least I don't mind it. Some people do, but the author said that he'll fix it in due time. Otherwise, the grammar is actually quite good and the character explanations are getting better.
For this reason I'm giving a 5 for everything; in hopes that the author continues improving and writing a very engaging story with a relatable MC (how we all want to mercilessly have everything).

This story is worth a try but unfortunately it's style prevented me from enjoying it.
I started reading it with high expectations but unfortunately it did not improve. It's like reading worse version of the beginning of Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu in terms of style, which means most of the things are either thoughts of MC or narrative.
I am sorry but it really bored me as I am not a fun of that kind of stories. If you can pass the style, behind it is hidden a somewhat average story with a potential to become a good story but nothing special based on what is released at the moment.
