- ThesupremeEmperorRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The novel featuring Marcus and his cultivation journey is deeply engaging and emotionally charged. In the opening chapter, the hardships faced by Marcus set a somber tone, making even I feel sadness for his struggles. As the story progresses, there’s a strong sense of anticipation for how Marcus's path will unfold.
The portrayal of Marcus's experiences is compelling, particularly as he navigates his challenges and evolves. The development of his character and the intricate cultivation themes offer a rich narrative that keeps readers invested. Spoiler ⚠️
The fight arc involving the East Demonic Sect adds significant tension and excitement, contributing to the novel's gripping plot.
The exploration of Marcus's trials and triumphs, along with the dynamic fight scenes, creates a captivating reading experience. Each chapter builds on his journey, ensuring that the story remains engaging and full of promise for what comes next.
I’m excited to see more into Marcus's New world, eagerly awaiting to see how his perseverance and growth will shape his destiny in this immersive cultivation tale.
Also great changes you made for one chapter, and chapter two as I have seen recently.
I wish you the best of health, and all best to making this great novel,
thank you great author - RavensFantasyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Style/Story: The story follows Marcus as he gets reborn into a new universe. The new universe is full of magic, giving Marcus a fighting chance at life. There is a complex system that grants Marcus his unique abilities. The system seems knowledgeable as it is able to give Marcus details about each technique the new world has. The new universe Marcus finds himself in seems unique. Something, I look forward to learning more about.
The format of the story is not consistent between chapters as the spacing between the paragraphs is different throughout the story. There are various sentences that are missing some periods or quotation marks. I will also just say this, a bit more description here and there wouldn’t be a bad idea but not necessary. These issues may get fixed in time as edits are done on the story.
Overall, the story has a pretty good start. There is great world building within the story, especially when it comes to the system.
Grammar: The overall grammar is pretty good. The tense seemed to remain consistent throughout the story.
Characters: Marcus overall seems like a relatable character. You start to feel bad for him within the first chapter as he gets teased for his genius-like talents. His reaction to being transported into another world seemed fairly relatable. Though a bit more reaction wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Other characters in the story were written nicely. And those bullies in the beginning need to be dealt with. As Marcus grows in power, I’ll be interested to see how his character develops beyond what we know of him now.
In Summary: Overall, the story of the Deity of Death is set up well. The story has a great system that seems well worked out and some nice world building scattered throughout the chapters.
I will just note, if the story gets updated, I may update the review as the author edits chapters.
