Overall: 5/5This is a great story. The plot stays interesting; the story, in line with the actual Cyberpunk 2077 game.Grammar: 4.5/5For the most part, the grammar is consistent throughout the story. In the beginning, there are a few mistakes that I noticed with punctuation and spelling, but if anything, those add to the charm and humanize the narration of events. They also gradually disappear throughout the story.Story: 5/5Not much to add here. It's vintage Cyberpunk 2077 (2075?) and follows much of the same lines as in the game, just from a different perspective, while adding a few things from Motoko's knowledge of Earth.Character: 5/5Motoko's character is funny and engaging, and everyone else is similarly fleshed out. 236 chapters in, and the specifics of her life on Earth still remain a mystery, but from the music she likes and performs the reader can piece together enough to tell what she was like before joining the world. The main protagonists of the original game retain a unique voice without coming across as robotic, and even the chaff and villains retain a sense of self (apart from the Psychos, of course). As Motoko put it in the early chapters, "these were actual people, not just NPC's in a video game."Style: 5/5The style of the novel is very conversational and a bit informal, which totally works in the dystopian setting of Night City, with its unique lingo and slang. The occasional shift in perspective comes across naturally without feeling forced, and the dialogue between characters is authentic and written as actual conversations, something a lot of novels mess up (casual sentences of paragraph length without any breaks or interjections from the surrounding characters, for example).

I got lost hiking up a mountain, then I saw a shepherd. I asked him, "How far up are we?" and he answered "Ghost in the City". That's how I realised, I already knew the answer. We were at the peak.
In all seriousness though, the story got me hooked instantly especially if you have played the game or watched edgerunners. Took me 2 days to binge 220+ ch. is a testament to how addicting it was. Full of references in-game and great developments of our characters. A well unique written story that balances both the slice of life elements and general violence of the cyberpunk world.
TL;DR: Bro eradicated world hunger from how much he cooked.

Warning contains a surprising number of attempts to convince the mc to turn into a cat girl?
I haven't played any of the cyberpunk games or watched any of the stuff, but despite that this fanfic/same universe fic really drew me in. I liked seeing the interactions between the characters and would definitely recommend it!

Honestly came looking for this story primarily cause of the love I have for cyberpunk 2077 and edgerunners. I usually don’t read fanfics but this story has been a refreshing read and filled with cozy banter among chooms and chaotic mess that is Night City. Litrpg aspect is great as well, having the mc constantly growing and getting that hit of dopamine with her growth is never going to be tiring. It’s a nice comfortable read, 10/10!

Its not everyday you get a "real" feel style Gamer story. The SI for this story does a good job in expanding the world, and the frequent perspective shifts makes it feel alive without cramping the MC's style. The MC is genuinely powerful, but there is a sense that a lucky shot, or bad luck is going to do them in.
I dont want to talk too much about the story, so what you see here is generalized.
Story: It does have a story, that is a certainity. However it should be noted that the story presented is a mixture of the base setting for the world of Cyberpunk 2077, the Gamer trope, and a bit of something else. Putting an exact pin in it is difficult.
For definition on the above, Cyberpunk 2077 is a dystopian world set in the 21st century, Corporations rule the world. A  lot has gone down over the last several decades, from more generic wars, a full apocalyptic AI scenario, etc. Im not qualified to give an overview of the story due to not having read the books, or played the game. (Unless you count me watching Edgerunners, and having a low to moderate understanding from watching videos and reading on the web.)
Check the web if you want more info. The story is definitely typical to the Cyberpunk 2077 story, and Gamer tropes. Gratefully it isnt grating, or intrusive, there are no blue screens, magic, loads of stat pages, etc. There is alot of action, mercenary jobs, and a slow, clear scaleup that feels right.
The thing I like about these types of Gamer stories, is that a bullet to the head is a bullet to the head. The MC thus far does not have any capabilities that exceed what is possible inside the story, be it through cybernetics, new guns, enhanced learning capabilities, etc, it feels earned in a way.
The use of perspective is a pretty important part of stories like these, getting an outside view on what the MC is doing, and things going on around them enables the plot to feel active, and alive.
It also helps that the story is currently getting frequent updates and is al

Ghost in the City is an extremely fun and interesting gamer SI set in the Cyberpunk universe.
The style is good the writing is understandable and the descriptions are simple but in depth enough to know what's happening.
The story is a simple SI with gamer system in the Cyberpunk world, it's not the most original concept but the execution is excellent. The story had lots of cool action scenes and character interactions along with character and system growth. The story is able to implement the mc well into the Cyberpunk world and explore daily night city life. The progression is very fun and I always like seeing her level up and gain new skills. Although skills are often left behind once she begins focusing on a new skill area for example going from knife wielding to programing, she hasn't used her knife in dozens of chapters I think and since she has so many areas it's difficult to focus on them all. This is also a problem with plot points and characters since lots are introduced but they are often forgotten as the story moves on to the next until they suddenly reappear when the author realizes she's abandoned them. I personally don't really mind much but it is something I noticed. Her various shenanigans and jobs are very fun and it seems the story is moving onto a point where she'll be more recognized which is exciting. The story also has some moving emotional moments and mental challanges which come with mc situation and living in such a place as the Cyberpunk world. I also really like every character interaction and I can't wait to see her become a night city legend.
The grammar is great I don't remember seeing any errors.
The characters are the best part of this story. The mc is very fun and likable and while not a saint she's not a cruel person either and cares a lot about her friends and family. She is also kind of realistic since she makes mistakes, gets cocky and learns and develops throughout the story. Her brother is fun and the relationship with mc makes

At first I wasn't sure if I would love it but damn did it suck me in. Honestly I'm worried for Moto's future mental health at this point lol. Seriously loving it, this is now on my daily check list. To the author, please keep writing, as a fan of all the genres found in this work I truly am enjoying what you are creating.Writing in hard, it is taking a piece of your soul and sharing it. I enjoyed the game, but if were honest, it wasn't what we were promised. it was no Witcher 3. There, I said it. But that doesn't mean that fans of that world don't long for more of that world, and this story provides that in spades.
You want more 2077? THis is even better than the real thing!
