Description
Ross was never exceptional. He never got the girl, never took a stand for what was right, never learned any exciting tricks. He'd always been the back-up to others he knew, and if not a supporting role, a punching bag. All that failing, he was a massive nerd, through and through.
When a horrible accident forces him into an alternate world ruled by magic, monsters and inter-species conflict, Ross realizes he hasn't got much of a choice but to try and play back-up to the heroes he encounters in this new reality - something he's perfectly happy with.
Unfortunately, he keeps finding himself in the limelight unintentionally and unwillingly, and it's all thanks to a truly unique set of abilities only he has obtained. Using his role-playing knowledge and mysterious Full Counter abilities, Ross will face threats to his life, his will and his inverted tendencies, though he has one lesson he must learn.
There'salwaysa bigger fish in the pond.

This is a fun read that really brings the role playing to the genre. It's got an intricate system that obviously has a lot of thought put into it. There are very detailed descriptions of the classes, and skills. A lot of fun and light hearted details were added to the overall theme that reminds me of a bubbly isekai anime.
Style
The style has instant TableTop vibes which is actually really cool as most of in the genre go with more videogane themes. It definitely adds a flair to an already fun setting. Especially when chosen as a defense based lead it sets itself apart.
Story and Character
The story and the character go hand in hand as they are complementary. This fiction follows the life of our protagonist in an almost slice of life kind of way that still brings action and adventure. It's a very solid balance that makes it unique and compelling. While at sometimes the story and the characters can feel flat, the overall journey is fun and still likable.
Grammar
I'm a horrible judge of grammar personally so as long as it's nothing noticeable I personally say the author did well.
In the end it's s fun series I plan on following and can easily recommend it to others.
