So. You decided you wanted to see a story about a catgirl. A reincarnation story about a catgirl even. And seeing that this story was started up to be a nice fluffy story, you let your guard down...Even as you saw the potental threats seemingly loom from the distance. Expecting those threats to stay there until the catgirl got stronger, the entire world you were reading was suddenly shattered into bits and pieces as those threats decided that they wanted money and slaves. Those pieces are now what you're reading. Perhaps you expected the catgirl to actually be overpowered and adorable. I kinda did but uh, im rather biased in the case of Fran and Master (..or was it teacher? The translations tend to differ). Unfortunately this is a more realistic story. Right now, the only thing left to read (until either A: the author gets out of the army or B: the funny world events FINALLY STOP ESCELATING GOD FU-) is the pieces and bits that have been shattered...With that said, Marines tend to be a very stubbern bunch. Their cryaon eating habits tend to be because of the art they can perform with them. I state this because as you can see down below, a amount of rather concerning reviews exist. Quite frankly i can't blame them...Except for the eminence in shadow fanfiction guy. I dont know wtf is his deal. Truthfully, you will most likely need some form of capability to stomach dark stories. I find that english explicit stories tend to be less whimstical in their ability to be cute and funny, but that doesn't make them any less bad. Arguably this could be considered a more realistic way of what happens with slavery and intensive memory suppression. It's a shame that there's no Geneva suggestions to stop a Marine from commiting to their artwork. I will admit, i did actually stop reading around chapter 30 for a long time due to how the content seemingly kept on getting darker, but this story was never meant to be light hearted. The character are nice and good written nothing amazing you haven't seen yet but they are decent.
Grammer
I haven't found any Grammer mistakes as of now.
Style
Its good, not really anything to complain about, there's a decent amount of detail in it but not enough to complain about.
The Bad (aka story so far)
it was actually decent, till ch 18 .
In chapter 18 the village mc lives in gets attacked, people run away, she has to leave her family behind. Nothing I haven't seen already but it's decent enough to set up a revenge arc. We'll queue the typically cliché arc that's found in ton ass novels these days.
While running away the mc kills an enemy, ok. Still running away and she gets captured, ok. Well she gets enslaved with some magic shit that makes her forget herself and everything. In the comments some people talked about it how they thought it was meh (read them yourselves for more info) and the Autor responded by basically telling them it won't be that long of an arc and to look at the title cover of the novel because that's how mc will be for the rest of the story when she's "gifted" to some wealthy person.
This leads me to believe that something similar or exact what I'm about to say will happen (don't take my word for it tho) but I think it's gonna be a typical cliché type thing

Mc gets gifted to a rich person and gets trained as assasin or similar and then gets her memories back in the process.
Something like that is at least what I believe.
Now I dislike where this is going because personaly I dislike slavery and the memory forget stuff. And it's just really cliché at this point. I like the story till now but then this, kind meh not gonna lie.
Anyway take my review with agrain of salt, its biased by a lot because of my personal taste.

I really liked the first 17 chapters but then the direction of the story change and it was bad;
the author killed the start of a really cute romance between the main character and her friend when the main character became a slave and later the person who buys her a tries to treat her more like a person starts to have feelings for her and this pissed me off, I think the story went in a bad direction but could definitely be saved depending on if she fully gets her memory's back and how it's done, ideally she fully stops being a slave and gets together with her friend, it would be fine if she keeps working for the guy who bought her but right now I think the story is declining

Plot got completely subverted and overhauled with little to no warning and in a direction I was not pleased with. Any character building in the first part was pretty much thrown out the window along with any other aspects that could have made this story more unique along the way, but ended up feeling like an Eminence in Shadow fanfic.
I was hoping the author was going for a quick subversion of expectations, but after continuing for a while longer it seemed that the author was sticking with a new storyline for the foreseeable future.

It had an amazing first half, with amazing characters then the mc's mind was wiped and memories erased and it just killed the story for me, I'd rather have seen her join up with her friends to escape and grow strong together. Not this, now that's not to say it might not happen but I'm not sitting through maybe 50+ chapters of this, she's basically a robot at this point. I hate to give this harsh of a review to something i want to love but I just cant. But if you are not like me and can find enjoyment in this style of story then go forth and enjoy. It is really well written, the gramar is spot on and the first half especially was an amazing read. 1-17 are the strongest with the best writing 18-29 are where things came tumbling down for me. Hopefully the author can take the criticism for what it is and adjust course, but this is their story and their story alone. I can only say, that memory wiping effectively killed a burgeoning and amazing mc and what could of been an adorable romance between childhood friends. May check back in the future and see what changes.
