I'm not even sure this is my world.

The endless blue sand feels foreign and the sword in my hand is odd. But I don't have time to think about it, not with hunger and monsters and dreams filled with blood. I have to survive, and maybe find the people in the locket that hangs around my neck.

Because I'm pretty sure they're my family.

    Wow this is such an awesome read! My favorite part so far is the transition in the beginning of the first chapter- don't want to give any spoilers but it is soo smoothly done & pulls you in.
