Description

Lots of people dream about getting Isekai'd, waking up in a fantasy world with heroic powers and evil to slay.

I had the pleasure to experience it all! And trust me, it isn't as fun as you think. At least not when you suddenly wake up in the body of some weird insect aliengirl with five limbs too many, in a dilapidated room that looked like it ripped off the best parts of some of the best Sci Fi shows, and absolutely no clue what hell is going on. Especially given the fact that everything looks like the world came to an end a thousand years ago and nobody bothered to clean up since then.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that appearently I'm a hive mind now?

Shit's weird man...

This Fiction is currently being re-written and will not be updated until it is complete. Once I am done rewriting it, it will be updated under the title "The Hexclaw Contingency". Thank you for your patience!

This is not going to be a regular release, at least not in the traditional sense. If I post I'll post on Wensday 5PM CET, but there might be a week or two with no new content from time to time, since this story is just me working through all the ideas that I couldn't work into DQoT. This is not a priority story and simply the byproduct of me sorting my thoughts. Hope you will enjoy it nonetheless.University has started, so any releases for a while will be whenever I have them ready. Apologies for the delays.

I'll also include the music I'm listening to when writing the chapters, since sometimes it can influence my work quite thoroughly, especially in unplanned stories like this one.

Not every day I see a story feature a distinctively inhuman main character, and not every day is it a gestalt consciousness stranded on a desolate, overgrown space station.
If there is one thing you take from this review: endure the first few chapters. Their clunky style shouldn't stop you form reading further!
The story is only begginging, so it lacks focus, but I found it enjoyable. Events that happen make sense and keep you entertained. Prime knows nothing of the world so everything is new, and PoV shifts stragely do not disrupt the experience, and offer insights of the bigger picture.
I enjoy the main character, usually just called Prime, and I honestly don't remember his name. He is a reasonable person, doesn't freak out too much, still clings close to his humanity though (for now, anyway),
The style is rough, especially in early chapters. Sometimes you wonder where did the character get its information from. It appears to be an instinct, but that was clarified only in the comments.
It does get better later. I found my reading experience quite smooth in the later chapters. I just wish the early ones would get an edit at some point.
