Not sure about your haters man but im luvin this story so far and check back daily for updates lol. What i have noticed though is that sometimes people will mark down a novel rating in order to lower the competition either to try to get their's a higher rating or bitter of others. Please dont let it get to you and keep them coming!!

The concept about cultivation is this story is a refreshing new take on xanxia which has made me look forward to seeing where it leads. The story itself so far is good but slow-paced and no real goal as of yet for the MC beyond getting strong which is present in practically every story I've read. I've never real paid much attention to grammar unless it affects my ability to read the story and thankfully I do not have that issues here. Finally the MC himself is probably the thing I like most due to his perpetually calm nature, intelligence and the willingness to do what he needs to complete his objectives (e.g. Manipulating the other Pathwalkers in the lake test). His weapon choice is completely unique and has left me with a desire to see how it develops.
All-in-all I am greatly enjoying this story therefore, I hope you keep up the good work.

Patient world building that makes the story interesting to read compared to other Xania novels. None of the typical "in the blink of an eye" phrasing either, which is a definite plus.

I realy like your job, keep going please.
In response to Gask: "This is a Xianxia. If your are new with the genre I can understant your argument, but what your are saying is like I dont like X genre, this novel has that X genre, It's  ok if you don't like it , I don't like vrmmorpg for example and don't read it but i don't leave a bad review if i because of that".

A great fiction, well deserving of the number one spot on the top monthly fiction list.  I could go on about all the things i liked but i’ll say that i enjoy the simple little touches that the writer gives Owen, such as how he cleans his house before he leaves even though he might not make it back, or the way he waters the plants. These things add flavor to the story. I will simply say that this fiction is definitely worth a read.

Ok so just like the author himself said he wants to remove the bad parts from xanxia/wuxia and combine it with the good parts of western fantasy novels.
And o BOY am i looking forward to more chapters, I have read the current bunch and only with the “laws” in the novel am i already very optimistic about this novel.
Xanixa and wuxia is all about gaining insights and amassing power/wordly energy but it has never anything to do with an cultivators personality or goals they might have only talent and time.
Even in real life if you calm your mind and become confident/relaxed and dont walk around with a mask on (aka hidden intentions) you can pick up girls/men better than without this insight yet in all xanixa wuxia novels they never become better persons in general.
Even in Coiling Dragons the MC is just a slightly more apathic kiddo as soon as he became a Saint he was all like i will wash my hands of mortal people as i stand above humanity or something.
Becoming an immortal and not trying to help people in need is what a lazy or selfish person would do you do not need to do it all day but at least care enuf to take action at times.
And in this novel THE LAWS will make you more than a human  a god A TRU IMMORTAL that is what i feel not simpely gaining power but becoming the extreme of something.
This is a very powerfull idea for a novel and i really wish to see the future of this.
So my final toughts on this novel is that i admire your motivation behind this novel and i hope to see more A LOT more of this.
Apart from that your grammar could use some improvements as i see quite a lot of mistakes not in spelling but in things like “Can you get me the dood” this would originaly have been can you get me the food.
Instead because of auto correct or simpely overlooking an edit it screws with the context sometimes its hard to geuss what the author actualy meant.

Okay I am here to give my little say or I hope what I say is little.
This story is a good read.
This may be a xania but this story is a bit different in the fact of that there isn't very much blood-thirst even after around 0 chapters. Not to say there isn't killing or fighting but this is no Against the Gods where there is killings of massive sects.
The Mc has a disability that holds him back but that is overcome through good fortune and a great mind set towards cultivating.
He has a unique weapon which will lead to different fights and maybe even a whole new style!
The MC has no real mission besides overcoming his disability, this leads to him being very "go with the flow"
if you know what I mean
This story while having many chapters hasn't progressed far, this can be seen as the author having small chapters, which is true, but he has also laid out a solid base.
I do hope later I cam change this later to being 4.5 stars but that depends on where the story goes and how long it goes for!

The most annoying problem with this story is that the author clearly didn't put nearly enough thought into the idea of Owen being blind. There are several places in the story where Owen "saw" or even "imagined" something, at one point Owen was asked to imagine a cloud and the color red even though both those things are impossible for someone who is blind. Besides the glaring problem with Owens blindness the story is pretty decent if not a bit too slow. The battle scenes also need work, again the author has a problem keeping Owen blind during these scenes as well (ex. " Its brown spikey fur was soaked but one could still see the sharpness of every hair." Owen was alone in this scene btw), also they're a bit short for my personal taste, there isn't nearly enough of a struggle to be exciting for the reader.
To sum it up, it's OK, someone might find it entertaining, but not me.

Mini review because i wanted to let my frustration with the story out somehow.
The style of the story is very pretty good and fitting for xianxia stories so there are the 4.5 stars.
The story as of 18 is intriguing as it is a nice change from all the other novels since there is an actual teacher this time as ell as a blind MC.
The grammar is pretty bad, there are mistakes in every single chapter so far(1-21) and although you can still read it is sad that the author doesnt show any signs of improving or will to improve, for example getting a proofreader,so its rather tedious to actually read the rather short chapters filled with mistakes and sentences that seem to switch how they were written midsentence
"When Owen arrived back at the cave, the first thing Kovinth did give him a slight nod."
some say it doesnt ruin immersion, for me it does, so its really bad and seeing as how popular it is i would have hoped for the author to get someone to help improve his story, or improve it himself, sadly it shows no sign of doing that which is why only 2 stars out of 5
The character are okay-ish, some are rather lacking in backstory which i hope gets explored, on the other side, there seems to be a running gag to spot mistakes where the MC can see although he is supposed to be blind, where even the author said he gives more chaps when its spotted, which is just depressing since it shows he doesnt really care that his story can be shitty, since the whole point is that he is blind.
