The journey to recover a family’s stolen legacy becomes a duty to restore a shattered nation.

Growing up on the streets of a city hollowed out after years of war, disease, and lack, the only thing keeping Marcus Valentia going was knowing that his missing father might still be alive.

One day a mysterious messenger met with and tipped Marcus off that his father’s upright tank—a massive walking war machine, fell into the hands of bandits who were on a warpath across the continent, raiding and pillaging from coast to coast. Deciding to reclaim the only thing left to his family’s name, together with his best friend Layne, the two managed to infiltrate the barbarian camp and become the raiders’ mechanics, working on the very machine they intend to steal back.

But Marcus soon learns that it wasn’t simply luck that reunited him with his father’s upright tank and finds himself embroiled in a conflict that threatens to reignite a continent-wide war which would destroy his homeland for good.

What to expect:

-A world based on the pike and shot era of European history

- A gritty grimbright fantasy. Things will start out bleak, but through force of will and determination the heroes will make things right for themselves and those around them.

-A fantastical adventure that toes the line between the physical and metaphysical. Expect epic stakes involving both the gritty politics of the world and conflict between the forces of the divine and diabolic.

- Noble heroes. Good vs evil, with clear boundaries between them.

- Brotherhood and camaraderie. In the darkest hour, it is the bonds forged in the fires of hardship that will see the heroes through.

- Hero's Journey. There will be ups and downs throughout the adventure. Expect great victories but also losses that force the heroes to reflect along the way.

- Awful puns.
