Heists, spies, terrorists and mechs! Ever picked up a fic and just coudnt stop reading? that was me with this one. The pace is relentless once it gets going. We're three books in, and it has yet to slow down. Nor it managed to bore me once!
Will and Remy's near-impossible missions get wilder every time, each more outrageous than the last. You think the author ended with the surprises, and then he still manages to surprise you. Honestly, I am not sure how he does it.
You keep asking, how will they pull this off? and then, somehow they do. Its a relentless thrill ride of near misses, brilliant gambits, and those holy shit moments when the plan actually works. The story has kept me glued since page one and it never stopped!
And the characters - William Dunn, Remy Soto, Becca Wagner. I love them. I love them to bits. Their friendship is the heart of the story, and every mission has me holding my breath, hoping they all make it through.
Great story, great characters, and I cant wait to see how this all ends. A must read if you're looking for high-velocity adventures and hijinks.

Wow, This fic is something else! The plot? Absolute fire! It's like being on a rollercoaster that just won't quit. Each chapter ups the ante, and I just couldn't stop reading. Sure, there are a couple of rough spots, but honestly, the plot's very good, so they feel like they don't matter. The characters are very weel written too, and they add a lot of life to the story. Overall, I loved the fic so far and I cant wait for more.
Style: The author's style is both easy-going and captivating. The language is casual, it flowswell and it's pretty immersive. The descriptions are vivid really vivid too.
Story: This is where the book truly shines! The story is a rollercoaster - the pace never stops. It's like a series where every episode ends on a banger. There's an escalation with every chapter, and it keeps going and going and going, and you are left wanting for more. It's seriously tough to stop binging.
Grammar: The grammar is pretty solid, but there are a few hiccups. Nothing too jarring, but you might spot a few slips here and there.Still, it's more than decent.
Character: The characters are the heart of the story, and they beat strong! They feel like real people, with dialogues that are spot-on. Remy, as the best friend, is a standout - the guy's got layers. Rebecca's great too, coming into her own in a relatable way. The playful banter between everyone is the icing on the cake.
So there you have it; it is a solid read, especially if you're into something that keep the adrenaline pumping. The plot is intense, the characters are well-crafted and the fic is definitely worth a read.

Keep up the good work, it really is one of the best stories I have read in the last year. The story seems feasible even though it happens in the future. One can share the emotions of the characters and relate to their aspirations and worries. Besides packing action it also has clever humorous scenes.

Style: Military as a style doesn't vibe with me personally; seeing as I am seven-foot-one inches tall. Despite this I do know some about the military, being brought up as an army brat & reading many military authors & military adjacent novels over the years. I am hoping that other than some off hand remarks about the military, that it will become far more militaristic than it has been thus far, & soon. I am using this story as a buffer to other stories & they are usually more litrpg/xiaxania than this is. (Path of Ascension. I Highly recommend!)
Story: This story so far is an absolute Captivating page turner. I look forward to even more Captivating page turning story. Keep it up. That said...
Grammar: Atrocious. Spelling too. The reason in fact that I am rating this early. I prefer to have MUCH more story "under my belt", as it were prior to rating, however, I am a perfectionist & frankly it's driving me a little nuts how you can have three books out? (Based on pictures of covers), & Still not have found an editor?... or failing that, Grammarly...?!
Character(s): Both Will & Remy seem to be well written thus far. I see parts of myself in both of them. I hope that there will be more well written individualized characters joining them soon too...?
I look forward to more, please for love of all that is holy, find a Competent editor!

    Overall good and interesting.
Pros: likeable main cast, interesting antagonists, no pov shifts, interesting world/sci-fi/ fantasy elements
Cons: (long because I yup about what i think could be better because I genuinely like the story)
    - confusing mechs (I have no reference for what the mech looks like. By the name you assume a large tank like thing but I think they are person sized). Could be fixed with a description in terms of size, or having classes for small, light, medium, blah. There is one class of mech mentioned and I assume they are large but idk.
    - writing is a bit fluffy at times. Like, the author is just pouring out the story from their heads into text, but there isnt a lot of refinement. Repeated words, actions, items described the same way multiple times (x did you because z like 2 times right after another). Its NOT BAD but it could be refined and be a better read.
-power scaling is maybe a bit odd. Mc is a young kid but seems to be op at times, for no reason or than grit which doesn't really fit in the story IMO but its fine if they establish you can just do that kind of stuff. Then theres other characters that are described as super strong but they only get a few moments of beong cool in action, and then nothing. Eh I won't complain too much it just rubbed me the wrong way a bit.
-Last but not least, there's a lot of chapters already for which im grateful, but so little seems to have happened in 4 books. Since mcs power level is described, do I assume this story will track him to being a grandmaster type warrior in book 50? Idk.
