Description

This is a Rewrite!! The original is still up! As my writing has improved since I wrote the original, I wanted to revamp my first work!

Life was okay for Finley. It wasn't great, wasn't bad but it was okay. He went to a prestigious school, had a couple of friends and a decent future awaiting him.Or he would have if the people who had abandoned him hadn't shown up with wings, horns and a proverbial wrench for his life plan.It makes for some strange days when you find out you weren't just an average guy all along.

Book one of the Universes Series.

Very good story, interesting characters, good writing. Definitely worth reading. First time I’ve read of a matriarchal society; very interesting.
Had no complaints until the personality split. It was done so that Finn wouldn’t crumble under stress/overwork, but atleast go the distance and have that happen so it makes sense to willingly take on schizophrenia. All of a sudden there’s 3 voices with completely different personalities. It’s no longer the kidnapped prince Finn who is curious about the fairy world, his lineage and holds a lot of potential but treated inferior. It’s Cai who is the powerful and prideful heir of the fae. To me he’s a completely different person so his interactions feel unauthentic (we also casually skip important development with Mei by him liking her off the bat.) Obviously the other personality is a psychopath and neither of them cares about Finn’s relationships. I can see this starting to change with the new chapter but the whole part was really annoying to me, considering the story was already heading in a good direction.
    I’ll continue reading regardless
