Description
Final Hope centers around Mikomi Saigo, who inherits Onyx Technology Ventures from his father. Mikomi succeeds in completing his father’s work, but the day before he announces the completion of an advanced A.I., he is shot and killed in the parking lot of the company. He wakes up 10 years in the past with all of his memories intact where he meets Sebastian, a custodian of time. Mikomi has been given a second chance and decides that he wants to do more than just find his killer… he wants to change some of the more unpleasant events of his life, but the more he changes, the more the world responds.

- jrowland11Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Universes and timelines have to start somewhere, and sometimes they do start with a bang. Final Hope is the first series by Joshua followed by A.R. Dragonfly and From Ashe. I started following his work with A.R. Dragonfly, and finally got around to the web version of Final Hope.
It was well worth the read, an interesting and engaging story, and can set his future series in an interesting light too with how multiverses can come into play. It’s well paced and engaging. Even though a bit heavier stakes than some of his other stories. I’d recommend it, (and recommend his other series too!)
