- AppleseedthefirstRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I just caught up, and wow, this is not your average horror collection! Sure, there are the usual spooky, terrifying stories that gave me chills, but what really stood out were the few stories that were surprisingly sad and thoughtful. It’s like the book was trying to scare me one moment and then make me feel all emotional the next.
Some of the stories are creepy as hell—like, the kind that make you want to sleep with the lights on. But then there are these quieter ones, where the horror isn’t just about monsters or jump scares. They really make you think about life, loss, and loneliness. It's not often you find horror that’s this deep.
Overall, this stuff is creepy and kinda beautiful in a weird way!
