    As the title describes.
    The prose and grammar are solid, I was not distracted by any errors.
    Heartfelt and endearing, I was never bored by any of the interpersonal drama within or without the team. Every single character and mon is interesting in their own unique way. Especially impressive given the speciality Fee is forming (which I won't spoil).
    It has interesting lore and world building that enhances on the pokemon/fanon base in a fun way, without devolving into cultivation as so many pokefics do.
    I read 50 chapters in two days, my highest recomendation. Read it, read it, read it.

    One of the best Pokemon fanfics there is. Fe is a very likable protagonist and her partners are just as good characters. The author does a great job establishing her relationship with her Pokemon and giving those Pokemon enjoyable arcs. They aren’t just tools to get stronger but true individuals and the relationships that these pokemon have are as complicated as that would necessitate. The worldbuilding details that make each Pokemon feel so unique really allows this to shine through. There are so many details about Falinks that really allows them to feel real, for example. The setting is one I wasn’t familiar with beforehand but it’s open ended nature has allowed the author to set up really interesting arcs and social commentary. I have read to the current chapter on the original platform and am happy to say it only gets better.

    I have read it on Space Battles and plan to read here to up the engagement because I need to say, this is one of the best Pokémon fanfics out there.
    I love the characters, they are awesome and fun and complex. And the worldbuilding is out of this world. It's incredible, for real. So many fun and new ideas incorporated into the already magical world of Pokémon, and also not a writing that is afraid to get dark. There's wholesome moments and also terrible moments, and they strike a good balance.

    Ferrous Sand is a pokemon fic that takes place in a region so obscure there are a grand total of four fics using its tag on AO3. It stars a girl who has always wanted to be the best there ever was... At the 1v1 fighting game type of pokemon battles that are definitely, totally expected out of a pokemon fic. It involves aggressively humming at pokemon, the legendary sextuple stack, and high school internships. It has some of my favorite battle writing in any pokefic I've read, and that's just the praise I can give without spoilers!
    The star of the show here is our protagonist Fe. She acts exactly like you'd believe a teenager would, from getting into stupid fights with her friend to getting into stupid fights with her friends (though these ones know how to use rock smash). She has a wonderfully unique voice, and the character development from chapter 1 to 65 is both heartwarming and heartbreaking to see.
    Falinks also lends itself to a completely different paradigm than any other pokemon I've seen. Having 6 individual bodies opens up an entirely new dimension of strategy and a completely different style of battle: every knight can use its own move, but each one individually is much weaker than any other pokemon. PeacefulPoint takes full advantage of this to write battles that don't read like any other.
    Six bodies also leads to six personalities, and Ferrous Sand skips right over the psychic/aura/etc shenanigans a lot of fanfics pull to just have humans and pokemon learn to communicate through interaction like literally every species ever. Fe and her knights can't hold a verbal or mental conversation, but they certainly can talk to each other, and I personally think this finds a great middle ground. The Pokemon are characters (and people) just as much as the humans, but they are very clearly not human.
