Farming in combat is broken

Description
In the far future almost all humans are a digital experience, living in worlds doing things that modern humans dream of. The main options come in two flavors, Fantasy and Scifi. This story follows a young man on his journey into what he hopes is a peaceful life. It will involve progression fantasy, farming, budding love (don't expect harem or smutt, not going to do it...), friendships, and lightly on heroism. It is pretty casual in its journey without anything pretentious.
Brad just turned 18 and was moved into "The World", a fantasy setting that involves classes, skills, and progression. What will he make of his life? Will he grow powerful while slaying monsters or decide to take it easy and to live a stardew valley sort of life? Only time will tell, but I invite you to join the adventure anyways.

- pra3torRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm sorry if the title of the review might have spoiled the plot for some readers, but that's the best summary I can get so far from the story that I've read.
The pacing is kinda erratic in my opinion, battle scenes are either truncated or not really fleshed out in a gaming fashion. Litrpg elements are not too much part of the story. The chapters are short enough. The cutting points on each chapter is reasonable enough not to really be cliffhanger.
I'm hoping for a better pacing of the story, either fleshing out some boss battle scene or just skipping most battle scenes and do a recap of battles using charts or list of actions.
Storyline for the characters are pretty decent in my opinion. The world building leaves me a bit indifferent since not much is happening around the main characters.
This story has a potential to be great. I'm just hoping that it will go towards its full potential once it hits its stride.
Cheers. - IsensanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have been reading this for a while now and I really enjoy it. Haven't really enjoyed most farming stories, but this one has help me with a decent mix of different elements.
Love the story and how lore drops happen. So far, not many, buch each lore drop feels natural to the story. Nothing really feels forced. It also keeps character development as a main part of the story as well as their business/farm. The relationships between characters is also believable in different ways, depending on the characters involved. Some stories seem to have every relationship develope the same. Whereas this story sees pretty much every relationship go through it's own trials and tribulations.
Style is a hard one to get people on, especially new authors. At the beginning, it was pretty rough, but now it feels a lot more natural.
Grammer wise, he does pretty well and he listens to his readers when we suggest edits. So overall, not any worse than most authors.
As for characters... He currently has a decent cast of 5 characters, 2 of which are a clearly defined Male MC and a Female MC. It started off seeming like combat would be the main focus, but the character development has been really solid and it portrays the characters first love aspects well. It also explains the MMCs familiar well. He speaks through emojis in a pretty solid manner. - Mister BillRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It is sort of slice of life with action thrown in. It is well done, it is a neat universe, and it is a good read. I like the main character and I really like how it is currently going. Exploits are neat and this story doesn’t have terrible ones. Just ones that work well.
- Mr.CleanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really enjoy the story, but the title is a little misleading. There is combat and I understand what the author was going for, but it is not combat focused. I would say that it is closer to a slice of life/farming book with combat on the side. The story is currently progressing at a steady pace story wise, though there is some inconsistency in the releasing of chapters. That beings said, the author has come back from each break, so I doubt it will drop forever before it's finish.
Characters
They are progressing nicely. The male MC started out selectively stupid, but has progressed into a pretty logical MC. The female MC started out a little unbelievable with her willingness to jump into the story, but she is my favorite character beyond the males druid companion. The other characters are also believable in of themselves.
Grammar
The author is definitely new to this, but he is improving and makes corrections as they are given to him in the comments.
Style
The autors style is decent, nothing world changing, but pretty consistent, improving, and understandable.
Story
The story is progressing at a pretty fair pace. Nothing seems rushed and nothing seems stagnant. Overall the pacing is admirable. - WhatsgoingonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story starts off funny and continues to do well, but the story really picks up after chapter 4. I think the writer is new, but he starts finding his groove around then. Its got some combat, some humor, and some farming, so overally I think its doing fairly well. You can also tell that the author is improving throughout each chapter.
- choc51Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I was very sad when I reached the last published chapter and finally realized that the novel was stopped.
I really liked the unique perspective on this type of trope, the farming experience as well as the way relationships developed. And I won't even talked about (Royal) Rumble!!
Anyway, hope one day it might come as a revised version. - ditchpickleRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0reminds me of nights spent gaming with friends trying to break the game in any way possible. and way too many campaign derailments to even count. thats all i really wanted to say but now ill fill in with sensless drivel to hit the 50 word minimum. so beware of creepy gnomes that travel with talking lizards.
- onlyemptylandRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This reminds me of star valley but it's a bit more advanced than that. I like all the details of mental activity as they add a lot to the storyline and make the whole story more colorful. I wonder what will happen next...Can't wait to read more! Keep up with the good work!
- CadianRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Currently is quite good, had a good bit of fun with reading all of them. did not notice any jarring grammatical errors, and the only thing its missing currently is about 300 more chapters to bing.
But so far have had a easy time visualising the content and had few good laughs. so will definitely put it in the follows list to make sure that i can continue with it.
